Thank you for providing such a detailed and thoughtful review of "In DeLorean’s Shadow: The Drug Trial of the Century by the Sole Surviving Defendant" by Stephen Lee Arrington. Your review effectively captures the key elements of the book and provides insights into its positive aspects.

It's great to hear that you appreciated the author's candid approach in sharing his life story and the lessons he learned from his experiences. The exploration of acceptance, accountability for one's actions, and the role of faith in the author's journey adds depth to the narrative. The incorporation of Bible quotes and the author's strong belief in God's presence during challenging times contribute to the spiritual dimension of the autobiography.

This book sounds interesting. It is very rare for a person to be so pragmatic and accept their punishment. His religion has definitely helped him. Nice review!!

"In DeLorean’s Shadow" by Stephen Lee Arrington is a gripping 424-page autobiography detailing the author's tumultuous journey from drug smuggling to a life of purpose and faith. It starts with Arrington's reluctant involvement in a drug operation and his subsequent arrest, reflecting on his struggles and redemption. The book is emotionally powerful, highlighting themes of personal responsibility, spiritual awakening, and the transformative power of faith. Arrington's life story, interspersed with biblical references, offers a poignant narrative of overcoming adversity. It's recommended for history enthusiasts, Christians, divers, and anyone seeking a thought-provoking, real-life story.

That's quite a review, it's interesting to see how Steve life changed and how prison brought him closer with God, I'm truly impressed and really interested to read about his life.

Thanks for the great review. I find it humbling that Steve admitted his mistake in letting the environment and others (Morgan in this case) influence him to smuggle drugs. I think that it is powerful when we realize that our actions are dictated by our decisions rather than on what others think and say. This shows that Steve has a sense of self awareness, and is the biggest takeaway for me from this book. I'd like to read this book and know more of Steve's tumultuous yet humbling story.

Arrington's compelling life story takes the reader from the high-stakes world of drug smuggling to a place of comfort found in faith. The book's deft blending of spiritual concepts and personal tale makes it an engaging read for anybody navigating the ups and downs of life.

One must be careful who they associate with and who they work for. This review illustrates the helpless situation that this young man became a victim to. He trusted and worked for the wrong person. As the saying goes, once you're in you can't get out. The fact that this man is still alive is a feat in and of itself. He paid his dues and wants to share his story. :techie-studyinggray:

Biographies are not my thing but I liked how insightful and detailed your review was. It almost makes me wonder how Steve's life story went. He realised his shortcomings and worked on being a decent human being which was inspiring.

This gripping nonfiction book is focused on crime, prison life, and reform. Even if punishment seems like something the offender deserves, all the social glue that holds society together really kind of invites some negative traits. One day, hopefully, the complete set of enablers—both direct and indirect—will be considered when analyzing crime and criminals. Outstanding review. Congratulations on BOTD!

The book was good, the flow for the story was built good too, the review was also explained well, but since it was not the type of genre that i like, i didn't enjoy it so much.

Wow, the AIDS issue is a tough one. I get your point, but since AIDS is also a cause of discrimination, it's a tough call. But I like the overall message of facing the consequences of our actions, good or bad. Thank you for your review.
