Using the stories from the Torah as a way to explain leadership is an appealing aspect to me. Most books I have seen use the whole Bible, but the simplicity of the Torah cannot be overlooked. Thanks for the review!

If God didn’t want Adam and Eve to eat the fruit then why put it in the middle of Eden ….
A book that could give a chance to see leadership in plenty ways from plenty angles!!

I'm not religious in any way, and this book sounds like it is aimed at religious leaders, although I do like the idea that biblical stories have been looked at from a different angle. Congratulations on a great review!

How interesting. A leader must listen to voices other than his own. Many of our current "leaders" should take that to heart. Great review!

I can't wait to read this book; it looks like a fantastic selection for readers of all ages. People are creatures of comfort, and most find change to be uncomfortable. In both the workplace and at home, the ability to manage and interpret it is essential. I believe a lot of people will benefit from this book! thank you for BOTD.

Any book that provides expository insights on effective leadership, especially during turbulent periods in organizations, while using familiar religious examples would make an interesting read. This is a great review.

I am not what can be called religious person, but since I was mostly educated regarding Bible, I always had an interest in the points of view other main Books offered. Torah is intriguing and appealing to me cause the snippet of details I gained through years, so I believe today's BOTD will be able to provide more perspectives. Thanks for gifting it and congrats!

I downloaded this book because I found the premise incredibly fascinating. I appreciate that the author approaches the Torah as a sacred text, not necessarily as a "literal historical record" as he says in his intro. And I also appreciate that he sees God's role in the Torah as offering things to emulate - forgiveness, inspiration, compassion, etc. (also in the author's intro). Thanks for the wonderful review of the book, and congrats to the author on BOTD!

Thank you for the review that inspires to read this book. I've just sampled the book, and I like the author's writing style, the examples he gives, and especially the unusual combination of teaching leadership by reference to the stories in the Torah. Looks like this is a desktop book for everyone who is to guide the colleagues through organizational changes.

It sounds like a guidebook for anyone who's a leader or thinking about becoming one. Having each point accompanied by examples and relating it to religious examples will help make it more convincing to provide people with the bigger picture of each situation.

Managing people has always been a difficult thing to do for leaders in positions of authority. it is good to have a book like this that explains how it can be done especially from the Bible's point of view.

This book is filled with practical methods for people who lead groups and organizations who want to learn how to lead in times of turbulent change. Presently, I am not in need of this resource, but it would be helpful to those who are interested. Superb job on the book review! Congratulations to Russell M. Linden!
