Thank you for your wonderful review.
This book sounds engaging. I appreciate the author's perspective on the reference to American growth in terms of technology and other advancements but the evident moral decay.
It's great to bring an awareness of the importance of morality, I believe that advancements have simply brought to the forefront what people think, which was hidden in the past. I believe this moral decay was always there, just technology has connected us so well to view those who engage with and in it. I have taken note of this book for future reference.

Good book review!
This review is very interesting that i wanted to read the entire book. Changes are constant. Choosing it wisely is where lies our life in this society. Though we have both positive and negative growth in our world we need to choose the right wise choices.
There are still good things happening in our society. Let we all embrace the positivity over negativity.
Thanks for the interesting book review.

The organization of the book is commendable, as it is thoughtfully structured and easy to navigate. Each chapter concludes with a "takeaway" section that succinctly summarizes the author's viewpoint, enabling readers to quickly grasp the main ideas presented. This feature enhances the clarity and accessibility of the book's content. Nice review.

Thankyou for the review. I can see the perspective of the author, describing the changing landscape and technological advancements that America has gone through during the last century, I feel this book is very specific to American audience and would relate to them more. I do not think this would appeal very much to a global audience, whose countries may have been through tougher hardships. Not a preferred read for me, but I can see the appeal for someone who takes the first world comforts for granted, and make them value and appreciate it more.

The rate at which morality is declining not just in the United States but all over the world is alarming. Behaviours that usually make people pause is now accepted as normal. I actually fear for the upcoming generation. Technology has improved our world in so many ways but has also done a whole lot of damage. I enjoyed the review and would love to read this book.

With innovations indeed come a great responsibility to make sure they are well-moderated. The author drawing the parallel between the past and the present indeed works as an awakening.

I’m not that interested in America and its past and find this quite a niche topic. Nevertheless I am sure it is still very interesting and is probably relatable in someway or another for someone from elsewhere. Well done on #BOTD

Well done Joyjim! I almost confused you to be the author himself, just by reading your analytic review as if you were in the mind of the author. You have clearly summarized in an understandable manner, the message that Dr. Joe Brickner is trying to convey to the people of America through his book `America; Lost in Place'. You can almost sense an aching heart for the lost morality and values in the now generation but at the same time a feeling of gratitude for the latest technological advancements that have made life a lot better and easier than the 1950`s. I personally haven`t read the book but thanks to your review i got to know the entire book through your short summary.

Whatever has a pro has a con too; in as much as we are happy with the technological advancement in the world; there are also some disadvantages to it. That’s a beautiful review.
