I find it intriguing that the author could write about multiple generations of his family. Not many can do so. Thank you for your review.

Review is awesome, basically I don't have any interest in reading a book about mathematics and family relations. But after reading the review I think there are more things that I can enjoy reading. So I'll go for it. Thanks for a great review.

As someone who is not a fan of math, and hardly understands it, this review piqued my interest! Despite have a poor grasp of the central subject, I find myself intrigued despite myself and wanting to read this book!

The inclusion of the family aspect is also quite touching. One often thinks of intellectual giants as something almost robotic and removed from the rest of humanity. How interesting to think of them in a normal family environment. Thank you for this insight!

An interesting autobiography of a good mathematician can be found in the book "The Wandering Mathematician" by Shmuel Kantorovitz. The book showcases migration experience of the author's family.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Memoirs are not my cup of tea but the review is very enthusiastic and the book itself seems very engaging and educational. And the author did have a lot of wanderings but his family was always with him offering him the support only a family could provide. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This sounds interesting based on his travels, and bringing along his family for the ride. I love a good spreadsheet and math doesn’t bother me, although from your review, I suspect that isn’t the focus of his writing. I’m intrigued by the fact that French is included throughout the book—not a language I know, yet! Thank you for the insightful review!

I love a good story of growth and resilience. This book sounds like one such inspiring read. Although, I'm not really a math lover, but this memoir goes beyond that, making it appealing to all kind of readers. Thanks for the free copy. I would love to dive into it.
