One thing I noticed about this book is how the author makes a serious topic easy to understand. He uses humor and real-life examples, so it doesn’t feel like a boring technical manual. If you’ve ever been frustrated with a plumber or a bad water system, this book will help you see things differently.

Many thanks for this amazing review, @Shillah Andeso.
It is great to read that the book is eye-opening about one's home. This is a unique topic and the author seems to have handled it well, especially the facts about the modern plumbing and the linkage between law, science and plumbing.

Who would have thought that plumbing would have been an interesting enough topic for an entire book? I try never to complain or blame this type of professional for any problems that cannot be fixed because I don’t know anything about it. Congratulations on BOTD!

For a book about plumbing, it feels weird to see a book cover with a nebula. Other than that, the book urges you to appreciate this 'dirty' yet essential work. It is an underrated expertise.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

I am ignorant about plumbing and take it for granted, so I could learn a lot from reading this book. The review makes it clear that the book is well-written and humorous. Photos that demonstrate different concepts are a valuable addition. It is good when books like this make it possible for others to learn from an expert.

This book looks interesting and helpful. I read the sample online so I was intrigued by the spiritual connection with water in the beginning. The reviewers explanation of how it is helpful in practical ways is enticing. I think it sounds like it is a good book for people in the field as well as people who are not in the field. The description of how it helps the reader see the plumbing business in a new light and respect is especially interesting. I look forward to reading this book in full!

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. I am old enough to remember lead water pipes and iron cast soil pipes, rusted pipes, and deteriorated joints. PVC came on the scene with more healthy materials and hopeful longevity. The author tells the truth about plumbing, with some humor. Good book for educating everyone, young and old.

I have seen people spending a lot to repair their piping system because of being poorly done previously. The book's title hints to guide on how to avoid such and follow perfect plumbing procedures. Wonderful review.

"The Truth About Plumbing" by Avram Friedman examines the inevitable
disadvantages of modern plumbing.
Friedman discussed intricately the installation of plumbing systems, types of plumbing materials with their pros and cons, and the installation of these systems in different places around the home.
This book does not only benefit those who have an interest in plumbing, but any who has/lives in a home.

I never thought I would be into a book that tells it like it is about all things plumbing. It is interesting to read about how plumbing affects society and the ecosystem at large. I will definitely be reading beyond the sample.
