KRAZY TALES FROM THE WORLD OF GOLF: 90 Funny, Original, and True Stories by GAIL K HOLDEN is a compilation of several funny real-life stories the author shares while on an annual Golf weekend trip. I really enjoyed a prank/joke called "BILLY THE GOAT." It was hilarious to hear the judge using words he wasn't supposed to use while in the chamber. If you love reading and having a good laugh, I highly recommend getting this book. Congrats on BOTD!!

I love sports too, like tennis. Although I don't play golf, I am certain the characters fun and exploration of the sport might give me a good introduction to the sport. Congratulations to the BOTD author, and I like the detailed review too.

Former hockey players' thoughts on golf seem fascinating. Not the golfing part, but the learnings and sportsmanship-related stories sound fun. A book that golfers will thoroughly enjoy. Congratulations on the BOTD!

This is a very nobel book describing the art of golf and really funny too. It has cracked my ribs and left me in stitches. It will also help one improve their golf skills.

The book seems really entertaining, especially since I love reading comedy and funny stories. But it seems geared towards those familiar with golf terminology, which unfortunately isn't my strong suit. If I have to keep checking the dictionary to understand those terms while reading, I might not enjoy it as much. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Great review! Funny enough, I have read a fictional novel based around a golf tournament that I thoroughly enjoyed (Open Links by Dominic Holland). So, despite not being into golf, there’s a chance I’d really like this book. This would be perfect, however, for my mom’s husband (an avid golf player/lover) if he was one to read more for leisure, that is lol.

The review is well-detailed showing the aspects of the book. I am not a fan of golf. I may have watched it once or twice, but I like the sense of humor that surrounds some of the stories. Perhaps the book does not suit me very much, but I hope it finds a reader who enjoys its details. Congrats on BOTD!

The book's episodic structure makes it easy to pick up and devour a few tales at a time, each one more outrageous and side-splitting than the last. Holden's insider knowledge of golf and its terminology adds an authentic touch, though some terms may require a quick glance at a glossary for non-golfers.
