I am under a lot of stress. I am a full time caregiver for my daddy. I also have a chronic and mental illness. I also have other issues. Life could be worst. Simple tasks for most people are twice as hard for me. One example is completing assignments. I need double the time to achieve the results. I am not looking for someone to hold my hand. I am looking to be understood and respected.
This book mentions the flare up, how it happens, and length it can be. I thank the author for his courage to share his personal stories. I have flare up like this and sometimes worst. Now mind you, I only read a few pages. The author experiences could be exactly like mine.
I need help to manage my stress. Sometimes I do manage the stress, and sometimes I do not. I look forward to reading this book! I am having one of my normal attacks now. It is hard to write. Again, life can be worst.
Regardless, of only reading a few pages I would recommend this book to anyone that has has stress, chronic illness, and for people that have loves ones with chronic illness. Again, it the author’s personal experiences that make you connect to the author. For people like myself, we know this journey of pain all too well. Many of us wanted our loves ones, friends, etc to understand what we going through. Again, it not for sympathy. It about understanding the life of folks with chronic illness, stress, etc
I will updated my post if my views changed after reading this.
