A salvation guidance based Christian book "The History of Jesus: The Bible in a Nutshell" by William Davis. This book summarizes the Old and New Testaments in this short book with clear and concise explanations.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

What an awesome review, Bertha! I sampled the Introduction and the opening Chapter and instantly got immersed in the Edenic Covenant. I also felt fascinated by the story of Abraham and his sons Ishmael and Isaac. I agree that this book helps to understand the Bible and encourages us to read it. Like you, I only read parts of the Bible, and look forward to reading more.

Jesus has always been a controversial person that people struggle to know what to believe about him. I believe this book will help provide a historical perspective to the person of Jesus.

Thank you for sharing the greatness and accessibility of this book. From the few pages I read, I was quite intrigued by it, as it felt more like storytelling than a preachy attempt to sell the ideas of the Bible. As a non-Christian but a friend of Christians, I think I could understand their beliefs better by reading this book.

However, I don’t agree with your idea that not believing in God renders reading this book useless. I believe every book has something we can learn from, and the same goes for critique. Finding fault with certain ideas and discussing them in a healthy manner can, in my opinion, be very enlightening.

So although I might not want to read the Bible and follow the path of God after reading this book, I know I’ll gain valuable insights from a Christian perspective and learn more about the stories and their histories.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review! It sounds like William Davis has done a great job making the Bible more accessible to readers who may find it difficult to approach. I love how you mentioned that his writing style feels more like a story than a sermon—that makes it sound engaging and easy to understand. Your point about the lesson that we can't hide from God really resonates with me. This sounds like a book that could be helpful for anyone looking to strengthen their faith. Great review!

I have never read the Bible before but I know a good amount about Jesus. Salvation and faith has always been an interesting topic for me 😃. I would definitely like to read this book which has demonstrated the bible in a story like manner and take some important lesson from it.

William Davis has summarized the Old and New Testaments in this short book with clear and concise explanations. The Old Testament tells of the genealogical line leading up to Jesus’s birth and how their faith in God helped them, and the New Testament speaks of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection. Although we are all sinners, we can gain salvation if we make the right choice.
- Intriguing and fascinating. I must try it. A heavenly review. Thank you.
