Emotional abuse is one form of abuse that is not discussed enough in society. Most people only know of physical abuse because that one is easy to spot, so they are equipped to deal with it better. The same cannot be said with emotional abuse. I think the author has penned a relevant and important book. It will help people stuck in such situations.
‘When you do a good deed, people are grateful, and that creates a nice feeling inside you; and then because it feels good, that makes you want to do more good deeds. That repetition is the cycle of goodness.’

This review falls directly in line with what I have read so far in this gripping story of a traumatic situation turned transformation by God's grace! I have dealt with an abusive relationship as well and feel this may help me finally let go of some deep down hurt that keeps me from opening up and fully surrendering to Jesus.
