We could all benefit from health practitioners reading this text and reexamining their ethical and moral codes, especially as we face new challenges that the medical field hasn't encountered before. It might not be a book for a larger audience due to the terminology, but people in this field shouldn't have a problem with this.
Thank you for your review.

Great analysis, the book should be recommended to all medical professionals , The author, presents a humanist vision of medicine, something he considers essential at a time when medical practice often seems to be reduced to protocols and technology.

Non fiction books are not my cup of tea but the book sounds rather interesting in general. I would like to know more about the development of medical ethics and the history of medicine in western and eastern cultures. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

"The Virtuous Physician by Elliot B Martin Jr. is an informative book on medical ethics and history. It seems that this book is aimed more towards people with a medical history, or those who seek to improve their medical knowledge. This is a bit too complex and advanced for me so I might just skip over it, but congratulations on BOTD.

I would always be of the opinion that traditional medicine is the most effective form of treatment that has little to no side effects. This book contains technical terms that would be perfect for professionals who are familiar with those terms.
