I've been a believer all my life. My husband is just coming into his faith. There are always questions. Books like this help us to better understand.

I usually see books who try to disprove God, so I am refreshed to see it trying to prove God. We need more balance for these kinds of books so that regardless of what you believe, there is something there for both sides.

I like your enthusiastic reaction to this nonfiction book. The content is supported with quotes and research. The lack of errors is another plus. Thanks for the recommendation. I will be reading this one soon!

According to the reviewer, the author attempts to answer the question of whether God exists. Frankly, that sounds like quite the endeavour! The review is very well written and thorough. I'm not sure I would enjoy the book, though.

Based on the review this is not a book that I would enjoy reading. I dislike reading books on religion. I will pass on reading this book.

For the Love of God by William K. Ruffing sounds like a great read. I will love to read the book to find the answers to the age-old question about whether there truly is a God. Great work by the author.

As a Christian this seems like an interesting book to read and would actually be a good guide for those looking for answers about God. Thanks for the enlightening review

Wow! I just love the book. It tries to explain that we came in the world with nothing and so we shall depart the world with nothing. This is a fact! That so many people always tend to forget because they are so much into worldly desires which are riches and they forget that when they die they will go with nothing. Congrats to the author. This are the types of books that I would not want to miss in my self

The first couple chapters were very intriguing and I was on the fence about finishing it because I've read others that were similar. It is an easy read. The review makes me want to read more. I love reading books that take passages from the Bible as evidence to support a point. It sounds like a great book to answer questions for those that believe but haven't done as much research and want a starting point. Or even for a person that has but is always craving more!

I enjoyed this review quite a lot. I am a Christian but I'm not really into Christian literature. It reminded me of a book I recently read by William Combs. They have similar ways to write and expose their research on theology. I think that for these type of books it's very important to show the background, and support the statements with scriptures and studies. I found it fascinating that you finished it in one sitting, I certainly love when a book does that.

Though I do not have any questions concerning God 's existence or love for me, I am glad that the author has written such a book to shed light on this matter. I know in this day and age where many are do not believe in God and they question if the bible is God's word, this is a very useful book.It is great that he has used the bible to intrepret and evidence his work. Lovely review

I believe in God l,this book gives an indepth look into the Bible. I don't mind getting another person's interpretation of the Bible especially since the author has anecdotes and stories to prove his arguments.

I am not really into religious books, especially Christian literature, but the review is fascinating enough to tempt me to give it a try. Sounds like it could be spiritually enlightening in more ways than one. I also like that you found the book compelling enough to finish in one sitting, my kind of book. Fantastic review.

Nonfiction is not my genre of choice. Religion and God from a "Christian" standpoint are topics I have absolutely zero interest in reading. Congrats on BOTD.
