The inclusions of quotes, poems, and songs from the Korean War is a creative way to really add to the topic. This would be a very interesting read, as you're right that it's a topic we didn't learn much about in school.

I do not think many people know about the Korean DMZ. This book is sure to enlighten them. Thank you for your review.

The sample pages and the review both give one pause; I enjoy many genres but admit that I am not crazy about war novels, however, this sounds like it would fit well in my library. That being said, I have seldom read war stories, unless they form a backdrop to another narrative.

I am aware that this war was fought, although I know little about it, and am happy that someone has taken the time to write about it.

You want to connect with the characters on some level, and here the soldiers are shown to be real people, like me. That gives me hope!

To add to the story, the war was fought during the height of the cold war. It's a nice historical book and I will love to read in details how the Americans faired during the war. It's a good review.

I know about the Korean War, but not that much, compared to what I know about the Vietnam War. I think this important, because as you have said, it sheds light to this forgettable, yet important war.

Korean wat is definitely not a "popular" war to write about. I'm sure that the fans of the genre and topics will enjoy this book. However, I am not the best reader for this kind of book. It is interesting and unusual the inclusion of poetry. Great job with the review.

I like listening to real historical stories especially when someone narrate them to me or they are in a form of a movie but I loose interest when I watch them on television. But reading a sample of your book made it seem interesting and engaging, making one visualise themselves as being there. I honestly liked that. Thanks for your masterpiece!

The novel brings back vivid memories of events in my homeland. So many troops gave their lives for our independence and emancipation, but their families were left behind. Knowing one's past is really essential. Hopefully, our state officials will be awakened by this instructive book. Great review

This is an engaging narrative of an important but forgotten historical war event. The author’s writing style is remarkable. The presentation, plot and character development js sure to hook the reader till the end.

One glance at the cover and I already know that I will have to pass this book. It is nothing personal, just my preference to avoid reading anything concerning war. Any kind of war and any type of stories are most definitely not my forte, so apologies and still congratulations on the BOTD!

I'd like to learn more about the unknown heroes of the Korean War. The author seems to have skillfully mixed prose with lyrical parts. Thanks for your review!

Poetic verses and songs along with quotes that reflect the soldiers’ feelings will make the book tempting to read even when I'm not much of a fan. Thank you for your review, I enjoyed every minute of reading it.
