From what you explained, The book do have an intriguing philosophy, guess the errors were only lack of proof reading.

"Chicken Soup for the Soul" basically summed up the book. Thanks for sharing your review! This sounds like a great book. What a pity about the errors. I hope the author will correct them soon.

I like the concept and find short story collections so handy to read on the bus, but I think the poor editing would just annoy me too much with this one :( Thanks for the lovely review though.

Self-help books aren't my cup of tea but Something Happened Today sounds intriguing. I will definitely read it. Great review!

Every night, we should think of something to be grateful for; the fact that nothing bad happened is reason enough for a "Thank you, Lord!" That happy thought would make us sleep better, too. The author reminds us to recognize the small miracles of every day.

Thanks for delivering this happy thought. Sarah!

I'm sorry, but I just don't go for inspirational stories or collections, and I don't think this tome will be the exception, especially with all the grammatical errors noted. Thanks for the review, just the same.

Nicely written review. Errors in a book often stop me cold in the middle of otherwise interesting material. I appreciate your example about how to write about good content in a positive light, while clearly warning readers to expect errors. Forewarned, I feel more willing to take up such a book.

I like that I can read this book as a whole or in sections. I don't like that there are so many punctuation mistakes. Still, the little life-lessons may still be worth giving this book a try since I enjoyed the reference to lighting a fire.

Something happened today, yes I read the sample of this book today and found some interesting short and inspiring stories. What I like about this book is its positive message, the author tried to convey through the stories is that we all can do exceptional things.

I'm skeptical about self-help books so I'm not sure if I'll be picking this one up. I like the comment that you used as an example of what the author is trying to convey. Excellent review!

I have read the review of the book Something Happened Today by Paul E.Kotz. It is a story of the author about moral lessons. If we caught in a trouble, then by the little guidance from a right person at the right time results in the resolution of that problem. It is a good review.
