Conservation of feral plants and animals is important to maintain balance in the environment. John’s love for the bush and his efforts to make sure native plants and animals don’t undergo extinction are truly inspiring. Will his company stand strong against corrupt officials and changing government rules?

John's story shows that with the right motivation and support, you can overcome even the toughest obstacles - his partnership with Proo is a great example of this

Your review of "Death by Chaos" by Renaii West is quite compelling. I became curious about the truth regarding the involvement of members of Tasha's group. Congrats on BOTD.

An all important treatment of the threat that is looming over the world and just how some are fighting back against global climate change. The book is okay for all ages and it is written well enough so everyone who can read it easily and understand Written to show the difficulties and triumphs of trying to save animal and plant life that make Australia their home. I think "A Vanishing Kind" by John Wamsley and Stephen L Davey looks like it belongs in your TBR stack.

A Vanishing Kind" by John Wamsley and Stephen L. Davey is a compelling read that delves into the world of wildlife conservation in Australia. The book chronicles the life and work of John Wamsley, a mathematics professor turned conservationist, whose bold and often controversial actions left a lasting impact on the field. This in-depth account, narrated in conversation with Stephen Davey, explores the creation and legacy of Earth Sanctuaries Limited, the world’s first publicly listed company dedicated to wildlife conservation. Perfect for environmentalists and history enthusiasts alike, this book is a testament to one man's extraordinary efforts to protect Australia's native wildlife.

The government should be at the forefront, supporting and protecting people who are passionate and care about wildlife conservation from changing regulations and corrupt officials. I like what John was doing despite challenges to establish Earth Sanctuaries Limited Company. Congratulations on BOTD!

Wonderful review. I have encountered people in my life who are bush lovers and their fascination with the flora is what conserves the green in this world. To have this understanding shared in a book would be enlightening and educational. Can't wait to read this book!

'A Vanishing Kind' by Dr. John Wamsley and Stephen L Davey is a warm, socially concious book profiling the authors' efforts in wildlife preservation in Australia. Dr. Wamsley's love for nature and wild life in the Australian bush led to a lifetime of activism. The book is a tribute to the 80-year old Dr Wamsley and is conveyed in interview form.
