From reading just the first three chapters, I already like this book. I'm a 'Readers Digest' type of reader. I like short chapters and easy to understand words. This book hit that target.

The author has a good sense of humour and is able to see the positive in everything, including negative things. For example, she walked a marathon in Los Angeles and had the dead toenails after to prove it. But she said that was a badge of honour to show that she finished the marathon. She talks about various things in her life, from her work to her condo that she purchased to experiencing an earthquake that threw her one and one half feet in the air. Some scarey stuff but she always had a positive twist on things and even supplied some quotes from Mark Twain and Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese spiritual leader.

She served in the Peace Corps, wrote reviews about plays she watched and more. I loved where she talked about not wanting to go out one day to see a play that she was supposed to write a review about. Even though she didn't remember the reason she didn't want to go, it turned out that that play was great and she enjoyed herself tremendously. Her point was all about trying new things and sometimes being surprised by the unexpected things that can happen.

This sounds like a nice self-help book with autobiographical elements. I was intrigued by the title and cover of the book and look forward to discussing it for book of the month!

The title of the book definitely caught my attention! I'm not into self-help books so I don't think I will be reading it. However, I find it very noce that the author encourages the reader to never give up and motivates them. Thank you for a great review!

This book is a self-help book about finding the meaningful things in life and will become a constant when you least expect it. Sounds interesting.

The experiences of others are part of our experiences. Let us learn as much as we can so that others can, in turn, learn from us. Thanks to the author for an uplifting BOTD. I hope this book will garner a large and appreciative audience. Interesting review.

:tiphat: In the beginning it's like a book for children. But it seems like there's a lot more in the book. The only thing I don't like is the formatting style. But still it is a great book to read. Thanks for the review. :tiphat:

A great, inspirational autobiography "There's a Rooster in My Bathroom!" by Trish Ostroski, which portrays how the author had led a full life doing service to others like advertising and community development. The book appears appealing to for me to grab a copy.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Great review. The book seem like a good choice. I might end up reading it.
There is no point in trying to please a person who doesn't apreciate me. Besides, why do I have to try and please anyone in the first place?

The title of the book is quite interesting. I would love to know why the book is titled as such. I appreciate authors who give inspiration through their stories.

This sounds like a lovely and thoughtful book, but I feel like the cover is very off from the subject matter of the book.
Thank you for this enlightening review.

I found the sample pages very interesting, but was not sure if I wanted to finish reading it until I came to read your review. Thank you for a very well-written and detailed look inside this interesting self-help book with the very unique cover. I will add it to my shelves for later reading.
Great job on your review!

Well, I was expecting this to be a children's book based on the cover and title. It does sound encouraging and humorous. Congrats on the book of the day!
