I'm not one for self-help books but I do believe this one could be of great value. Mental disorders and other related issues are becoming quite a regular thing these days, and I'm sure that if some of our daily stress can be reduced, it would help a lot. Thanks for the review. Congrats on BOTD.

Although I'm not a fan of nonfiction, this book seems very helpful and practical when dealing with anxiety, stress and fear. I appreciate that the author brings up her own examples of when she had to deal with anxiety, stress and fear and how it affected her. It seems she has a lot of practical solutions that can help anyone who suffers from these. Which is most of us. I would love to read more and see how I can apply these tools in my day to day life.

Many thanks to the author for highlighting the many medical issues that arise from having these disorders. Indeed they are disorders which disrupt the normal body function. A very useful book with extensive knowledge on how to equip oneself with the capabilities to handle and deal with fear, anxiety, stress and overall worrying. It is imperative that everyone who suffers from these conditions read this book to help themselves!

This is first book I have ever came across which chalks out a clear and well defined action plan to calm fear, anxiety, worry, and stress. The author has shared CBT tools that have been scientifically proven to be effective in lowering fear, anxiety, worry, and stress. A simple schedule for thirty days and You got this! Kudos for an excellent review.

The author dealt with fear and anxiety herself and compiled various ways to combat them. She also discusses the pathophysiology of fear and anxiety. Various techniques not limited to meditation and journaling are highlighted. The illustrations and charts make it easy to understand.

This was a much harder book for me to read. Where the self help books that draw me in most are the ones that get to the point, this one felt like it had quite a bit of backstory before the point was made. However, that said, I do agree with you that there were examples readers may find relatable which is definitely needed. Great review, thoughtful and descriptive of the help this book can offer others.

A well-meaning book, but alas, I already have a system to mitigate the effects of anxiety. I might recommend it to my colleagues though. Appreciate the advice to deal with stress at home and work.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:
