This is a motivational non-fiction self-help book on leadership, empowerment, and the journey to success. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars. Congrats on being the BOTD selection.

This sounds like a fantastic self-help book. I love when authors take a realistic approach to self-help because success comes with work! Congrats on the book of the day! Great review.

Although the title is amusing, "If life stinks get your head outta your buts" by Mark L. Wdowiak has some very interesting contents and quotes. Above all, practical experience that could be useful. I think this one is a good one.

Initially I didn't think this would be interesting, but after reading the review I've changed my mind. I've added it to my TBR shelf. It also sounds like something that would be of interest to my 2 oldest children who are now adults.

Those "buts" are so easy to rely on when one is dissatisfied with life. It must be an excellent self-help book because it is a previous BOTM book. I have added it to my reading list. Thanks for the thorough review!

Honestly, this book doesn't seem that unique, but some people might find it more accessible than other self-help books, and one shouldn't judge them for it. Thanks for the review.

The line walked between thorough and general that the reviewer mentions is so thin that I could hardly see it; as a matter of fact, I only saw the general, and the visible effort made to attract readers to a subject that is far from flimsy.
CataclysmicKnight’s review is, on the other hand, very thorough, giving examples and solid grounds for his opinion of the book.
It makes it easier for the reader to understand how the book is organized and the author's metaphor of the way to success.
I think that the ”highlighted boxes of text” are a sort of distraction from the mainstream reading.
A good review, thank you!

I liked this author's approach to taking charge of your own circumstances. Your comments about WORK and taking charge of your attitude and thinking patterns reflect his central thesis. Your summary of each section was very helpful. Great review!

This sounds like a lovely book, and I like how you have described it elaborately. However, I don't exactly agree with the thought that success in one area of life would automatically lead to success in others. While it can be satisfactory and may have a positive impact on the mindset, I don't understand how it would guarantee anything else for other parts of life. I would love to know the author's reasoning behind this. This is going to my to-read list. Thanks for the amazing review.

The title caught my attention too. When i read the sample, at first I thought it was going to be yet another cliched self help book. I liked the way that the author put his own spin on ideas that, yes, have been said before, and they are still true. I can choose what I want in life, and in order to get it, I have to work for it. Thank you for the review, I will be looking into this one.

OMG! This is so my want to read! I love self development books, but the one you described, sounds perfect. I do believe as well that success is something you create yourself, with a tinny bit of luck sometimes. Thank you for such a good review!

I love that Wdowiak's message encourages personal responsibility and isn't your typical, fluffy, "You have a champion within you," shtick. This sounds like a good book to check out. Thanks for your review!

Really rude title! I had to forced myself to read review after it and to be honest did so very reluctantly. I realize it is meaning as wake up call, to shake person to the core and start get themselves on track, but I am not impressed by it in the slightest. Pity, I greatly liked colors used for cover.

I don't like self help books generally, so I doubt I'll read this one. Attention-grabbing title, mind. Great review!
