This well-written essay that Mr Shupe has cast on the civilised systems that keep modern man under a burden of chasing after the whirlwind of fiat currency and social status, is already opening a can of worms. His novel example of the coronavirus delusion and social media chaos is on point as world events are currently showing symptoms of spiritual death.
I personally resonate with the idea that soldiers are sent to die in the battlefield for wars that have nothing to do with them, like sheep heading to the slaughterhouse, they are woodwinked into thinking it’s solidarity and their duty for their country; religions have turned humans enemies of each other merely for the difference of ideas that don’t materialise. He has hit the nail on the head about marriage being a trap.
The idea of living off the grid like the Pirahã is attractive, I have been preparing for it; but for humans who have already eaten the forbidden fruit, even if they were stranded on an island with evolution which he equates to living according to our feelings and true nature to the Law of life, their delusion for modern technology would simply stifle any unconditional love that should supposedly arise out of such a development.
How ironic Mr. Shupe refers to Jesus, though understandably, but for someone thinking evolution is the perfect order of our origins as he thinks, he definitely hasn’t read Charles Darwin’s deathbed confession on evolution. And his views on family structures while saying no social species can survive without loving families, while he is using English language to convey his ideas whilst saying language is our downfall, or allowing the Law of Life to take it’s course through evolution, that would leave us without responsibilities and possibly no reason to exist. Sounds like Mr.Shupe’s mind is in hyperdrive with more acquisition of knowledge.
It’d nevertheless be a good reference and research book for students of International governance or International relations, psychologists and professions that deal with human social orders and behavioural instincts. Hardly a typo except for one in the contents section, nor a vulgar word, shows attention to detail and maturity.
I like the last picture showing the idea of sisterhood, simply because of the possibility that one man can service several sisters who are in agreement; to that idea I would add plenty of funny business for men (which man wouldn't say yes to such an arrangement) and a paradise a.k.a spiritual home for plural wives, or it may well lead to vanity and a man with limited freedom like a caged animal in a circus
