Shang Ik Moon’s life sounds quite inspiring. Being able to overcome adversity from the time he was in North Korea until he ended up in America shows his resilience. I am curious to see what role his Christian faith played in enabling him to survive adversity. Congratulations on BOTD.

"The Bulletproof Missionary" by Keriz Rosado showcases the life of Shang Ik Moon, a devoted Christian missionary, who struggles with the hardships of his parents' passing away in North and South Korea. Also, Shang has to escape the brutality of a second world war. Readers that enjoy non-fiction and action will be more than satisfied with this narrative. Congrats on BOTD!

I honestly like books on missionaries am going to start reading this book with immediate effect. Moon's life story sounds so sad with his age but for him to choose Christ is really good for him. I appreciate the review.

It sounds as though the main character led a sad and challenging life. I can see why you would wish this was a fictional account and not based on true events. I'm glad he was able to overcome his background. Nice review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

In this Christian fiction, the protagonist has a blissful normal life in North Korea until the World War II that forced his father to move him to South Korea. Moreover, the Korean war broke out and he was left alone without a parental figure. Later, he met a missionary that introduced him to Christianity. This book inspires the readers to find peace despite the hardships that result from wars. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This is a beautifully written book. The hardships Moon faced in his journey through life sure made him a tough man. I'm curious how this book is go'n end. Congrats on getting the BOTD. It is truly well deserved.

What a riveting telling of Dr Moon’s story. Amidst the suffering, God’s hand on his life was evident in the many miracles he experienced even though he did not yet recognize them as coming from God. I was inspired and moved by Shang Ik’s story and my faith was greatly encouraged. I recommend this book highly.

This book Bulletproof Missionary sounds like the boy had lived a tragic life when his mother passed, and his grandmother raised him.The best part about this was when he did have a relationship with his father. He had some obstacles he had to face but he became a Christian.

I have to say it was quite a surprise to find out that the book is basically about Christianity and the resilience of Moon even after undergoing so much hardship. I really expected something else. A really good read for #BOTD and a very revealing review, kudos.

This is indeed a touching story. I wonder how Moon was able to go through all these and still remained stable. This is definitely my kind of book and I'm not letting it go.
Thanks for your review.
