This is a unique clear, step-by-step non-fiction guide book that seeks to help its reader come to grips with all the richness and complexities of poetry. The book is temporarily free on Kindle Unlimited and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

Making Sense of Poetry by Rex W Last is welcomed, as I would love to learn more about poetry. Also, the twelve commandments I am sure hold the key to understanding poetry. Thank you for your review.

Poetry has always been one complicated genre. It's complexities cannot be overemphasized. It was thoughtful of the author to bring together 12 commandments to assist people who want to dive further into poetry. Your review is apt. Congratulations on the BOTD.

So far, I’ve never managed to make sense of poetry. Maybe I should read this book to see if it could help me to break the spell 🤔 I like that the author has used some humor and understandable language in this book. Thanks for the lovely review!

Like the reviewer, It has always been difficult for me to comprehend poetry. I think this book can be enlightening. I find it wonderful that the author includes poem interpretation exercises and provides their solutions. This allows readers to assess whether they have grasped the teachings.

I don't like poetry, maybe it's because I don't understand much of poetry. Maybe this will help, especially when it was mentioned that humor was used by the author. Thanks for your review.

Poetry can be boring sometimes but this write up has given me the opportunity to see it in a different way. The review gives insight to the teaching skills possessed by the author and how enjoyable his attempt to make poetry easy is. The fact that it mentions the author have a good sense of humour makes it interesting.

When I was in school I used to write poetry as a way to express my feelings but now I'm totally detached from it. It is really nice to know that there is someone trying to bring it to life in an humourous manner. I would definitely read this book. Thank you for the review.

I used to enjoy poetry, but I never got really into it, and now it's been a while since I've last read or written a poem. This book sounds like a must-read for me since I would like to know more about the topic. Thanks for the information review!
