Yes. She does open a window into her experiences and how she developed these strategies. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!Sarah Tariq wrote: ↑06 May 2020, 00:03 It sounds a good book as the author shared her personal strategies to cope with difficult situations. However, it's too bad to see errors in the book. Thanks for this great review!

Very nice comparison. What a pity that this book is poorly edited. Thank you for good review.

So true! Thanks for reading and commenting!unamilagra wrote: ↑06 May 2020, 22:56 It sounds like the author could really benefit from using a translator to publish this book in English. I hope the book can be revised so the great ideas can shine through. Thanks for an honest review!

I'm glad you enjoyed the review. Thanks for commenting.SunVixen wrote: ↑07 May 2020, 05:37 "Walking on the beach can be relaxing. Many people listen to recordings of ocean sounds to relax after a stressful day. The soothing, balmy waves that splash gently against the shore can transform into powerful and merciless tsunamis when a storm or hurricane approaches. In the non-fiction book, The Waves of Life & Our Mind Game, author, Say Thu Varadewa, compared the changes and stresses of life to waves on the water. The sea of life can be calm, but large waves can surge and threaten to inundate our emotions. How can we prepare ourselves to ride these unpredictable life waves so that they do not drown us?"
Very nice comparison. What a pity that this book is poorly edited. Thank you for good review.

I enjoyed this comparison that the author used. It was very easy to relate the author's ideas to everyday life. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!JM Reviews wrote: ↑08 May 2020, 02:52 I like the thought of comparing life's challenges to the sea waves. Thanks for the review.

It is a helpful analogy that helps the readers remember the author's main points by imagining the waves in your mind. Thanks for stopping by!

I agree! Emotional health should definitely get more attention, so it's disappointing that this book wasn't well written. Even as a native speaker I think I would have trouble completely understanding it because of the errors.damis wrote: ↑15 Apr 2020, 14:08 Emotional health is something that on average, doesn't get the attention that it deserves. It is always interesting to read about it. It is a shame the book contains so many errors. As a non-native speaker, it probably would be harder for me to understand it completely. I hope it gets another edition round. Thanks for your review!
