Today's BOTD is a memoir in which the author shares how he and a group of blackjack players took Vegas for millions by cheating and staying one step ahead of the authorities determined to catch them. Readers who enjoy true crime, as well as fast-paced, action-packed stories, will love this one! Thank you so much for your review...this sounds so good!! :-)

Definitely not my cup of tea, because the gambling, casino and entire Las Vegas setting is uncomfortable for me. I am not a betting person myself, and it is hard for me to understand the desire to waste money so uselessly or, like Red and his group, risk serious body harm in case of suspected cheating.

'Heat in the Vegas night ' by Jerry Ready. Wow so great but corrupted. With the sample provided . It promote fraudster. A group of youths taking gambling as professional and win in a crooked ways. Well there's a lot to learn too. The principle, the decipline, the tedious, the risk and bravery.. A great book. Rate 3.5/5

The memoir offers fascinating insights into professional gambling and casino culture. I'm not a fan of gambling, but the book sample is engaging. I've seen movies about casino scams. It feels wrong that we are rooting for the scammers trying to outsmart the law. Anyways, thank you for a nice review.

'Official Review: Heat in the Vegas Night' by Jerry Reeds has an intriguing introduction. It acquaints us with the unique plot of the nonfiction. Author Jerry Reedy describes his experiences as part of the team that scammed casinos by cheating at blackjack. The story provides a real sense of discovery and narrative tension. Additionally, the characters in the story devise strategies to outmaneuver both the casinos and the police in a perilous game of cat-and-mouse! It was great to learn that the book is suitable for those interested in professional gambling and casino culture!

I feel like I stepped into Sin City. I haven't decided if that's a good thing or not, but it is definitely an immersive read.

The title of the book first captured me. The book is a true story that follows Reedy's life as a casino player in the 1980s, filled with thrilling adventures across different casinos in Vegas. Reedy does an excellent job of bringing the reader into the fold with his play-by-play descriptions of blackjack games and the relationships that develop between characters. As a non-fiction book, "Heat in the Vegas Night" offers a unique glimpse into the world of casino gaming, providing an authentic experience for readers.

Jerry Reedy's incredibly well-written memoir, Heat in the Vegas Night, highlights his experiences working with a group of people who cheated at blackjack to defraud casinos. The book's author, who goes by Red, soon learns that although there are enormous potential benefits, it's a very dangerous undertaking. A small error could lead to catastrophe. Successfully scamming casinos requires a lot of social skills, technique, and luck. Burnout is also prevalent, and the law is constantly lagging behind.

I don't know much about gambling or casinos, so I don't believe I'll be the best audience to appreciate Heat in the Vegas Night by Jerry Reedy. I'll be skipping this book.

What an excellent book on professional gambling--I've never read one so far but would give this book a read to entertain with the stories woven throughout.
