"Prepare for the worst and hope for the best" becomes so true in this narrative. After a bad accident and damage to the brain, a strong will still triumphs against all odds. Congrats to the author 👍👏

I love how much you enjoyed reading this book and how much you could relate to the author. I am also inspired by the author tenacity and his strength to overcome his traumatic brain injury. I cannot imagine how hard it must have been to relearn many of the things that we abled-bodied people take for granted. I like his ingenuity in using rap lyrics to help with his speech impediment because rap is about rhythm and timing.

The story of Gregory Hebert is an inspiring one. I particularly admire how he was able to identify rap music to overcome the slow-speech challenge. Lifes and books like this will really help people who are going through challenges to be uplifted. Nice review.

Thank you for the review! It's a shame it ending suddenly. I don't usually read non-fiction books but I enjoyed reading your review.

There is nothing I love to read more than a true life inspirational story. What connects me more with this book is that I also grew up in the 90's and so, I can relate much more with the events that surround and influence the general plot.
It amplifies the importance of a supportive family and spirituality when navigating the various challenges that we encounter in life.

I like the idea of using rap music to overcome "slow speech." I think many people will relate to the author's life story and admire him for his strength and perseverance. Thanks for your review!

Although the book's first pages did not predispose me for a powerful story, your review shows that there exists a pretty decent and intriguing story that would be interested to read. Congrats on a great review!
