This review is so beautifully written. It can actually give you the insight of the book and on top of that also tempt you to read it. As a poet myself and a sucker for poems I'm so tempted to read it and inspire myself.

I was not a big fan of poems but my concept about poetry completely changed just by reading the sample of the poem;poems about things that mattered most by Bob Dowell.
I loved the way poet used to depict each moments. it's simple with powerful meaning. It makes us to think about appreciating each moment in our life with our loved ones.
The poem has a creative way of sharing it's soul! I am looking forward to read the complete version of it.I am sure It would definitely be worth reading.

Great review. I love poetry, and I love a good love story too. Judging by your exceptional rating and the sample I have read, I'm pretty sure I'll be adding this one to my reading list.

Bob Dowell seems like a wonderful man that's lived a fulfilling life. You can tell he's been blessed with a loving and supportive family. The excellent review has me adding this book to my want-to-read shelf!

Bob's words are so simple yet so effective, adorable as well, how well a perfect life can be with its imperfections, it is an inspiration for our generation, not just by the bond he shares with this wife but the whole family collectively and beautifully told with indulgence, as if I was there watching all along.

Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book, but it is nothing personal, so please no offense. Simply with my current language level I hardly can read something so much complicated as poetry. Anyway, congratulations with BOTD!

It is a great review. I will defiantly recommend this collection to my sister who is greatly into poems. I'm sure she will appreciate the different perspectives on this poetry collection.

The fridge story is hilarious and so typical of the capers boys get up to. Anyway, I felt inclined to read this book from the sample. The author packs a lot of experience and using poetry to relay it is ingenious. Your review confirms that about my ‘suspicion’.

Although I applaud the author and his good intentions in having these poems published for the benefit of others, I cannot personally read poems of a sing-song nature and predictable rhyming scheme. However, I congratulate the author on achieving BOTD and I am certain there is an appreciative reading audience that will embrace his words.

I love poetry and having read your review makes me want to read the book because of how beautifully the poet seems to have laid mundane events to poems.
