I like that the author opted for non-linear narration. I think that in this way a better connection with the readers is achieved.

Much respect for the author for opening herself bare to reach other souls through her personal journey and experience.

Ouellette’s style is expressive, and her story is evocative.
I agree. Ouellette’s writing comes across genuinely and makes you understand Jeannie’s viewpoint. Nice review!

I think that this book will be one that I am going to attempt. I usually don't like when the story jumps around, but you have convinced me otherwise. I am looking forward to reading this one. Thank you for your review!

It sounds like the author has had a difficult life, but I am glad that she had enough strength and courage to tell her story. Although I haven't been through the same experiences, we all deserve to tell our stories. I can't imagine going through the things mentioned in your review, and I am grateful that I haven't. However, I know there are many people out there who can relate to the author's story and be inspired by it. I hope that it does exactly that. Thank you for your detailed review.
