"Chad's Triumph" by Diana J. Meyer is a poignant and deeply personal account of a mother's journey to save her son, Chad Green, from leukemia and the legal battles that ensued. Meyer paints a vivid picture of Chad's brief life, portraying him not just as a cause célèbre but as a real, brave little boy who faced the challenges of a terminal illness with courage and grace.

I realized that most of the time, we feel sorry for our loved ones who are in one problem or the other. Just in the book, I realized that Chad had leukemia which made his parents to compromise of either to take care of him or let fate have it work. It's a very touching story.
I recommend it. Congrats on BOTD!

"Chad's Triumph" by Diana J. Meyer. An interesting book talks about the author's firstborn whose name is Chad. Chad was born healthy but as he lives he started struggling with leukemia. Chad became devastated seeing his parents having their own apartment. Congrats on your #BOTD.

This is an interesting non-fiction book that narrates about the story of Chad, the author's firstborn, and how he struggled with leukemia. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

Chad's Triumph
First dealing with leukemia and the dealing with her son being sick. Alot of courage to write about her son's illness and some set backs from the illness. The changes her family was going thru everyday from her son having luekemeia. First hand experience and thoughts of her child being sick. A remarkable story from first hand experience to be writing about. The questions in your mind during through out the experience that would be explained in detail and living with it being your son would be very difficult to handle writing about it would give someone else a better understanding of what the child was going through and what therew family was going through. Sometimes writing is a way to greive someones experience and help them cope with the loss of a family member. IT would be very difficult when it is your son or a young child. I could see writing would be a helpful way to describe the deatils of what there son went thru on the care that he recieved.
The evaluations of doctors the boy recieved and how family understood the diagnosis of leukemia. Alot of prayers to the family so little time in life for a person so tiny to experience. My condolences for the family and being able to give and write a story it gives other people insight from what they have experienced first hand.

Melisa, I thank you for your review of Chad's Triumph by Diana J. Meyer. I downloaded the book from Amazon. I do agree with you that, although I have only read a few pages, it does get boring with so much description of the surroundings. However, the narrator is interesting and the reader is likely to stay engaged. From your review, it is clear that there is much more to the story than religion. What a relief! I thought while I was reading the narrator's story of how Billy Graham brought Jesus to her that this would be a book centred around building my faith in God. I am interested in learning about the struggles and courage this little boy and his family had.

It is very painful for parents to lose a child to leukemia. Although Chad's story is sad, it may be motivating for families suffering from similar situations.

Losing a child is extremely difficult. I cannot imagine what the author went through. Writing about this might have made things better for the author. Congratulations to the author for getting her book as BOTD and best wishes for the rest of your life.

As if dealing with the sorrow of their adored child's terminal illness wasn't difficult enough, they also had to spend time and energy battling for custody of their child. I'm curious why the government was involved. It had to be distressing. I've put it on my TBR list. Detailed review by the reviewer. Author, thanks for the complimentary copy and congrats on BOTD!

Indeed, it was painful for Jerry and Diana while they were getting their lives together; death finds its way into their lives. The story is very emotional and painful, but also uplifting and inspiring. The author's courage is commendable; it is not easy to write such a story. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

The most compelling and captivating facet of this book for me is the spiritual aspect of it. I have a strong belief that God exists and someday we will all return to Him. I love the fact that Chad had the comfort of knowing God which gave him faith and courage to face an incurable disease beyond his control. I also feel empathy for his parents who fought to save his life. As a parent, I can understand such desperation as no mother or father will like to outlive their children.
I really do hope parents everywhere have a chance to read this inspiring book. I want to say a big thank you to the author, Diana Meyer for having the courage to write this book. God bless you!

Chad's and the author's struggle must be really heartbreaking while also inspiring. Its so hard to see your own blood suffering, and I can't imagine the pain of the author through that moment. It really needed to be documented in a book.
