I don't have any interest in aviation, and I don't read nonfiction, so I'll have to pass on this book.

It's nice that the author credited people who contributed to his success, but I don't care much about aviation. Or religion for that matter. I'm sure it can be an inspiring read for some, though.
Thank you.

I like reading non-fictional works because the stories are relatable and could easily stand as a source of inspiration. Congratulations on the book of the day.

I am not a huge fan of religion-based stories or of aviation in general so I will pass on this one. However, I too like stories that are straight to the point sometimes.

A book about perseverance and faith. I believe that God has a plan for everything even if we don’t get our way. Thank you for your review!

Sincere review for an honest book about a pilot's life. I enjoyed the sample which tells the story of the author's family and his birth. Later on, God will interfere in his plans but obviously not in a bad way.

Plans that Made God Laugh by CAPT Jim “Bluto” Allen, a book that touches on faith sounds amazing. I wouldn't mind reading the book to learn more about God's manifestations in our lives. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Sounds like a well-written book, but I have to pass. I'm allergic to aviation (my ex was a pilot) and not into any religion. Nice review.

There are a number of takeaways from this book; firstly, have a steadfast belief in God, never give up your dream and no matter the challenges you faced, you will break through as long as you believe in yourself.

“This book is a clear indication that our plans may not always go as we want them, our creator draws the plan, and we are bound by it.” This sentence was enough to convince me that I need to read it.

Glad the author was able to find his way to aviation! Giving God credit for helping him reminds me of my dad. 😊 He is also gives thanks to God for a lot. Glad that the author explains his journey well and that you found it to be relatable. I love that he acknowledges those who helped him along the way, including his friends. Thank you for sharing your thoughtful review and glad to enjoyed it!

This book sounds like it would be favored by readers who enjoy detailed memoirs and information about pilots and aviation. I've started to read it and find his story-telling skills to be highly effective. Thank you for the comprehensive review.
