Like many other books, "Individual Influence" by Brian Smith and Mary Smith emphasizes the importance of teamwork with the difference that it also recognizes the individuality of team members. The emphasis in the book is on the development of SMART goals as well as self-awareness and self-examination.

Teamwork is always very important. However, I'll pass on this book because I don't read nonfiction/self-help books.

Leaders, workers, warriors all are part of society, but most definitely not my preferred cup of tea. The non fiction of this kind offers strategies and tactics that might work or not and I am sure that for my personality type it is completely useless, because I have no talent or desire to lead.

I haven’t heard of the SMART rules in years! What a fantastic idea for a book. I totally agree with the sentiment of egos. Sounds incredibly intriguing and educational.

The proposal of this book seems interesting since it covers both individual improvement and within a team. I like the emphasis on self-examination and self-awareness. I agree with the importance of developing individual or group goals to stay focused and not get distracted. It appears that the authors offer enlightening and beneficial advice.

This book sounds like an interesting and educative read but I don't think this book is met for me. I would recommend this book to those who love self help books. Thanks for the wonderful review and congrats on the BOTD.

I agree with this book that one must first improve as an individual to be a valuable member of a team.

I ended up reading the whole sample, and I was very impressed with the humor and simplicity the authors present. Even though there is no "i" in "team", each person is unique and this fact must not be ignored. Thanks for the review!
