I can imagine how hard it must have been for the author to put these heart wrenching stories to book. I applaud the courage.
It happens very rarely that I,as a teenager go through some very devastating problems that increase my urge to slow things down with a hard drug. So far, I've won the urge but with things becoming harder with time, I might just find in this book, the courage and motivation to abstain. Congrats on BOTD.

It’s clear from this review that Dear Heroin is a memoir filled with raw emotion and love. Morrison’s courage to share her story, especially something so personal, is inspiring. Definitely seems like a book that would leave an impact on anyone who reads it.

This is a powerful book that tells the real-life story of a victim of drug addiction and its devastating impact on the victim's mother. The narrative captures the profound sorrow of a heartbroken mother who clings to her faith to endure unimaginable pain. I’ve always thought of death as an inevitable part of life, yet nothing compares to the agony of losing a child. The author is incredibly courageous, sharing the intimate and painful details of her experience with honesty and strength.
I loved the review. Thank you.

Great review! Heroin addiction is a terrible thing. I have a friend whose son is addicted to it, and he has been bedridden for months from an overdose. She has been beside herself wondering how she can help him.

As exciting as it appears, this story of Morrison's son, Mike fighting for recovery and ultimately not making it through is one of many recovery journeys that several addicts take. It is exciting to read this book "Dear Heroin: A Memoir of Goodbyes to learn from Mike's journey.

"Dear Heroin" by Linda Morrison is a book in which the author described her son Mike's struggle with addiction. The book begins with tragic news because the author's son has died. The author's son Mike was very popular in society, charming, often passionate, and at times it seemed as if he would definitely break free from the hell caused by narcotics.

Thanks to the writer for this heartfelt book.
Thanks to the reviewer too.

This truly is a heartbreaking memoir, passionate and eloquently written. Throughout the sampling I couldn't help but cry for the loss of her son. I too would have rated this 5 out of 5
