Sarah Storey's tale is very remarkable. Undoubtedly, attaining our aspirations and objectives depends on having a good upbringing in a loving home and getting ongoing support from friends and family. Sarah Storey persevered through illness, injury, and bullying.

Telling Sterling’s story is not only engaging but manageable as well, allowing people from different walks of life to realise as to how Storey was able to achieve his success. To a large extent, the author succeeds in interweaving the key biographic facts and Storey’s own commentary with the context of para-sport. The book carries on the story from her childhood and her fight with a congenital disease that caused the amputation of her leg and her unyielding struggle to excel.
Perhaps the most refreshing about “Ride On!” is that it is not about Storey’s physical endurance alone but also, and perhaps especially, about his will and more. Through discussions of the movie Sterling cherry blossoms, it can be seen that hard physical strength is reflected in addition to the mental strength that the actress is endowed with, which can be useful in competitions. It also briefly describes her life off the field and also her parenting skills and her work in the disabled creation, making the reader to understand her fully.
It helps the narrative be supplemented with interviews with Storey’s coaches, family and other athletes making for a more diverse perspective on her athletic career. Thanks to Sterling, the book is enjoyable to read but at the same time, inspirational to the extent that it conveys Storey’s story and her contribution to sport and society.
All in all, “Ride On!” gives the audience insight into Dame Sarah Storey and her persistence and ability, while S.A. Sterling writes in such a manner that the readers are given not only a piece of information but also a feeling of inspiration by Storey’s accomplishments.
