Although biographies are not my thing, this story inspires me to live my life fully, irrespective of the challenges facing us. I like how the book captures the different phases of her life; it is truly inspiring.

Non fiction books are not my cup of tea but this one sounds very inspiring. Having the support means a lot. A person who has someone to stand by can "move mountains", so Sarah was really fortunate to have so many people around who helped her. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Congrats on BOTD!
Sarah Storey's tale is very remarkable. Undoubtedly, attaining our aspirations and objectives depends on having a good upbringing in a loving home and getting ongoing support from friends and family. Sarah Storey persevered through illness, injury, and bullying.

good review, I don't like autobiographies but the review is so good that I want to read this book. The protagonist sounds like a person who doesn't give up and achieve the impossible.

It’s inspiring to read about how her resilience and positive mindset led her to achieve so much despite the challenges. The focus on her family’s support and her contributions beyond sports adds so much depth to her story. A very detailed review, giving the reader an insight of what to expect before diving into the book, and emphasizing the point that, one would not find the story to be dragging on a certain aspect.

In this book S.A. Sterling presents a highly inspiring and interesting account of one of Great Britain’s most talented sportswomen, Dame Sarah Storey’s journey to triumph: Ride On! The book is a biography of Dame Sarah Storey a disabled sportswoman who grows up as a cycling enthusiast and becomes one of the most successful Paralympians in history.

Telling Sterling’s story is not only engaging but manageable as well, allowing people from different walks of life to realise as to how Storey was able to achieve his success. To a large extent, the author succeeds in interweaving the key biographic facts and Storey’s own commentary with the context of para-sport. The book carries on the story from her childhood and her fight with a congenital disease that caused the amputation of her leg and her unyielding struggle to excel.

Perhaps the most refreshing about “Ride On!” is that it is not about Storey’s physical endurance alone but also, and perhaps especially, about his will and more. Through discussions of the movie Sterling cherry blossoms, it can be seen that hard physical strength is reflected in addition to the mental strength that the actress is endowed with, which can be useful in competitions. It also briefly describes her life off the field and also her parenting skills and her work in the disabled creation, making the reader to understand her fully.

It helps the narrative be supplemented with interviews with Storey’s coaches, family and other athletes making for a more diverse perspective on her athletic career. Thanks to Sterling, the book is enjoyable to read but at the same time, inspirational to the extent that it conveys Storey’s story and her contribution to sport and society.

All in all, “Ride On!” gives the audience insight into Dame Sarah Storey and her persistence and ability, while S.A. Sterling writes in such a manner that the readers are given not only a piece of information but also a feeling of inspiration by Storey’s accomplishments.

This book is a delightful read not only for individuals interested in sport biography but as well for those interested in getting up, taking lead and being who they want. As shown in this book it commandeers one to be steadfast, consistent irrespective of the situation that bounds one subordinate to life hurdles. Sarah being a vivid of the boss of her life regardless of her disability and bully she faced portrayed resilience which resulted to awards, fame, affluence and amazing rewards that comes with being successful.
