I personally don't like biographies. I prefer fictional adventure novels. I always find tragedies more stressful when I know that someone really had to experience it personally.

Congrats on BOTD!
Paul Scott's memoir "Trouble Ain't Nothin' But a Word" describes his near-death experience and how it affected him. Will Paul recover and lead a normal life after suffering an almost fatal heart attack that put him in a vegetative state? This book will motivate readers by telling a tale of fortitude and resilience in the face of adversity.

It is important that an autobiography is honest and truthful and I appreciate that this one is. It sounds like the author had an eventful life and experienced many things. A near-death experience of the magnitude that he experienced and his road to recovery could not have been easy. Thank you for the insightful review.

The memoir has an unusual yet effective way of grabbing readers' attention.  It begins with a scene that stops the heart, both literally and figuratively.  This is an inspiring account of fortitude, recovery, and transformation.

A story on self-discovery and redemption. What has attracted my attention the most is the author's struggle with his faith--How is questioning one's faith necessary? What is the effect on giving up on one's faith?

Great review! Personal experiences will vary and you can obtain all the information and knowledge in the world, but life will still come down to the choices you make (or don’t make) regarding these factors. It seems that this author has made the decision to be open and honest about his own decisions in a way that can be helpful or enlightening to others.
Detailing his social life and the transformation of his personalities and attitudes over the years shows the real truth that nothing is set in stone and we are just all products of external circumstances and ingrained characteristics
.
This is a truth that I’m constantly reminded of (and need to be) on a regular basis.

Memoirs are not my cup of tea but the book seems pretty interesting. The author had a very challenging life in which he had to prove everyone and himself as well that everything is possible, you just have to believe in it. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
