I like the book and your review of it made me laugh a lot. This book reminds me of the film Little Miss Sunshine and I can't wait to read it sometime in the future. I like that only normal one in the family is the sister with the constantly fighting siblings. The grandmother is my favorite character.

This seems like a fun read, perhaps when one is traveling (on a plane for example)... humorous and light hearted books tend to be best for those situations.

Definitely sounds like a short fun read, at 92 pages this may be something that I would love to read. A dysfunctional family 'stuffed into a vehicle' sounds fun. Thank you for the review. I will be checking this book out.

A very entertaining book that looks relatable; the characters seem to mirror people in my own life. Can't wait to read it, certainly seems enjoyable.

Thanks for the thorough review. What I liked about the story, from the sample, was its very simple narrative style. It felt like you were in a small room, lounging in comfortable chairs, munching on chips, listening to the author talk about the vacation, and laughing a lot. It made me feel part of the family! (Whose family doesn't have quirks anyway? and petty arguments?) I believe I would read this book in full.

This definitely sounds like a humorous novel. It seems similar to other stories I've read where dysfunctional family members take disastrous road trips. There's definitely a lot of humor in that. Thanks for the review!

We need more light-hearted stories out there as a break from the really serious deep stuff! Thanks for the review.

Good review. This story is a good read because everybody has issues with his/her family. This is good for those who want to have a light read. It is not serious, it is not a suspense or a drama that one needs the highs and lows of his emotions. We, sometimes need to relax and this book is a perfect companion.

Thanks for your review! My family and I did a road trip around the perimeter of the U.S. - in three weeks. We still talk about this crazy fun trip; everyone remembers different things. I can imagine what the road trip did for their family bond! I did find grammatical errors, but not that many.

Gossiping about other people to downgrade their physical appearance or personality is not cool. In the sample I read on Amazon, the narrator stated that such was the trait of members of the family, including himself. Was this part of the funny aspect of the book? A good review.
