The book has a lot to offer; it talks extensively about culture, how different factors affect the culture of a region, and how critical it is to be aware of this cultural drift and to take measures to nip the cultural disintegration in the bud.
- Unfortunately at the moment this does not interest me, so I will have to pass on it. However I did enjoy the review. Thank you.

A person who does not know their culture, who and where they came from, is a lost person. This is the case of indigenous people all over the world. Yona explains this reality. If you care about what South African indigenous people lost, read this book.

The review actually encompasses everything about the book. However, I have a mixed feeling about the book. I loved the narration of the issues and the tracing back of the problem through a bit history. But I didn't feel connected with the political tone of the book. It's a great book, but not everyone who doesn't have a stake in South African affairs would see the message as fitting for them. Kudos to the author for bringing this discourse to light.

A book that explores the gradual disintegration of culture that is happening in South Africa even today is a must-read.

Books about African culture and the journey of civilization always capture my attention. I think this book represents the situation in the entire Africa and not only South Africa. Of particular interest to me is the exploration of crucial matters such as land ownership, migration, politics, and globalization. I look forward to reading this book because of this comprehensive review.

Reflecting candidly on cultural aspects and the repercussions of missteps on individuals can serve as a valuable alert. It’s embarrassing to admit my complete ignorance of the events in South Africa. The articulate discussion of the challenges and the historical context provided was enlightening.

Once a country loses sight of what it stood for, it begins to collapse. To see that the South African communities were and are being treated so poorly is disheartening. Anyone interested in the human right to live peacefully needs to read this book. Thanks for the review!

The book examines the gradual erosion of indigenous South African culture, which the author considers even more dangerous than the overt cruelties of the Apartheid regime because it is less visible.

The author sheds light on disturbing practices like South African sports players being naturalized by other countries and then discarded when they underperform.
