After reading the review of the book, I am eager to learn what led to the adoption in the first place, The story is relatable since three out of five kids never truly feel at home in their adoptive homes.

Adoption stories in themselves are deeply emotional and "Finding closure" is no different,we take a look into the turbulent and uneasy circumstances that Norman-Neubauer found himself in and the deep desire to find his identity that led to a search on ancestry and eventually finding some connections, the book is well written and would be very helpful for those seeking closure in their own adoption situations.

'"Finding Closure" offers a raw and compelling memoir of self-discovery as Rosie Norman-Neubauer embarks on a journey to uncover her origins and reunite with her birth family after being adopted as an infant.'
I just read a book about a family reunion, it was emotionally charged. I'm guessing this book would be the same.

Sometimes it happens that adopted children feel like Norman-Neubauer: 'While thankful for the opportunities provided, she never fully felt at home with her adoptive family and different flocks.'

I don't know what it feels to know you were adopted. However, I know that many adopted children usually try to find out about their birth parents when they come of age for one reason --- closure. I see this as the author's motivation in sharing this story.

Great review! I have empathy for those who were either adopted or in a foster home. Not knowing who your biological parents and family are. They must have that constantly on their mind.

I was never able to understand the whole issue with adoption, because in my opinion, the true family are the ones who care and love, around those you build your identity while they nurture and raise you. So what is the point of reuniting with the birth family, who left the infant behind? Who would willingly want to have something in common with such people?

I would love to find out who Norman-Neubauer's parents are and what qualities she may have inherited from them.

From the review of "Finding closure" by Norman-Neubauer, one can only imagine just how bumpy of a ride it will be to read the book. The summary highlights how tough of a job it was for the author to put down their thoughts, but it also makes it a very intriguing read because in our African culture we believe that every household has its shortcomings. It sounds like a relatable and raw extraction of our day-to-day struggles. The review really set a good tone for anyone to want to read this book.

Thank you for a wonderful review. The book was indeed great, but I have to object on the editing of the book course I came across a certain grammar error when I paged through. However, you have summarised the book so well in this review.
