I highly appreciate this book, and I believe there's much to be learned from exploring narcissism as a topic.

A narcissistic individual is quite difficult to live with. 'The author of this book started by helping us understand what narcissism is through the story shared by the author of a narcissistic woman who is also a wife with a kid.'

The review is well written and cohesive. Narcissists is the worst they never admit their mistakes. What if it was one of the parents? The influence of parents on their children is an indelible mark. It is good that the book discusses those relationships and the importance of healing. Congrats on BOTD

Good review! I know a narcissist, and he fits all of the characteristics that the author stated in the beginning. I grew up in a loving home, so I can't relate to the children that did not. I'll have to read the book to find out more.

'Did you grow up in a family that made you feel unloved? This could be one of the most painful experiences ever not loved, especially by your parents.'
Sadly, there are children growing up in a household, feeling unloved. I hope this book has something comforting for such ones.

Kelly Todd's "Healing from Growing Up with a Narcissistic Parent" gave me an uneasy feeling as I can't but pity the many victims whose stories the writer shared. The parent must have suffered the same fate as a child. Not necessarily though. Congrats on being BOTD. Nice review.

Thankfully, I have not had the experience of growing up with a narcissistic parent. But, if I did and was traumatized, I would be happy to discover this book. Kelly Todd has outlined the process for healing in this book.

To have a narcissistic parent must be a very sad state to be in and traumatic for a child. This is a very interesting topic to discuss; I hope many people will get to read this.

Official Review: Healing from Growing Up with a Narcissistic Parent' by Kelly Todd has a potent introduction. It outlines the contents of the non-fiction work. This is a story of a narcissistic woman with a kid. The book explains what a narcissistic parent is and how their behavior effects us. Also, it focuses on how to heal from narcissism. It was great to learn that the author aims to help the children growing up in a family without love!

The book “Healing from Growing Up with a Narcissistic Parent” by Kelly Todd has an interesting premise as it is highly relatable. It is hard to come across a child who did not come across narcissistic parents. Congratulations on the book of the day.

The family is the foundation of developing healthy personality and stability in all other areas of life. The state of a family is what either makes it a home-a place of comfort and rest, or not. Growing up in a healthy family and home is the best thing that can happen to a child, and the nation at large. When the contrary is the case, it creates a state of personality dystopia, and the result is an unhealthy society and nation.
"Healing from Growing Up with a Narcissistic Parent" by Kelly Todd is a non-fiction that addresses a peculiar aspect of a dysfunctional family. The author did not just highlight the toils of narcissism, but also how to heal from it. A great read for lovers of non-fiction, and people dealing with pains of a dysfunctional home and past!
