As someone from a large family, I can attest to the kitchen being the powerhouse of the home. It is also the most vulnerable to disorder and overcrowding. Congratulations on BOTD.

The review provides an overall idea about the book. I think I will go through the book because I also need some advice for my kitchen. I am a male, and I am messing up my kitchen. I hope this book will give some facts about my kitchen.

'Chef Mary has been in the food and cooking business for decades and has training and experience in all aspects of catering.'
I like how the author is reliable enough for the information in the book.

I enjoy being in the kitchen and making meals for my family. However, I'm not a very confident or skilled cook, so I tend to rely on easy dishes or recipes. "Kitchen Chaos to Culinary Bliss" might just offer some really good tips and tools to help me change that. Congratulations on BOTD.

We occasionally need to take stock of our lives and reevaluate how they are structured. Perhaps the most important component is the kitchen, which is the subject of this book. It is often disorganized and chaotic, particularly in a busy family. Far too many of us depend on fast food, microwave meals, and quick, starchy snacks that are low in nutrients. Chef Mary has decades of experience in the culinary arts and has received training and expertise in many facets of catering. According to her, the catering industry uses a variety of "tools of the trade," including quality knives, pots and pans, and spatulas, in addition to the fundamentals of cooking, including herbs and spices. She assists in figuring out what will be most helpful, and I find it oddly fascinating. Her enthusiasm is evident, and her tone is conversational. This kept the space tidy and eliminated the need for frequent excursions to the compost or bin.

Thank you for sharing your honest review. This book is definitely worth a try. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. But when it comes to cooking for someone else, I give up. It has become stressful and too much work. Or maybe I'm just too lazy to fit my cooking with their taste.

I read the sample on Amazon. There was not a whole lot of information in the sample other than the author attending a culinary school, allowing her son to help out in the kitchen at the age of 4, and the table of contents.
Apparently, she gives tips on how to stock your kitchen with basic needed utensils, how to get organized to save time and money, and a few recipes. I am in my 60s and did not feel drawn to purchase the book as my family is set in the foods they like and, for the most part, are grown and gone.
:eusa-think: Teach a child to read, and they can go anywhere and be anything within the pages of a book.
