Cristina, I enjoyed your thorough review of ‘Winning the War on Cancer’. The author honoured her father by bringing to light his important advancement to alternative medicine and that it did not try to replace traditional medicine but act as an adjunct. You brought out the struggles battling against the money making pharmaceutical industry. That the holistic treatment helped increase the life expectancy of the French president, suffering from the pancreatic cancer, is amazing because it is a cancer with one of the worst prognosis.

"Winning the War on Cancer" by Sylvie Beljanski follows the inspirational journey of Sylvie's life choice to continue her Father's cancer research. Her father Mirko found two plants that helped with cancer blocking cells. This book has their personal stories and riveting cancer information both educational and emotional. Great BOTD.

From the review, winning the war on cancer seems like a powerful book Cancer is a terrible disease that takes a a lot from a patient. It is noble of the author's father to take an initiave to help in this fight.

A valuable piece of advice for the people suffering from cancer and other chronic diseases is given in the book "Winning the War on Cancer" by Sylvie Beljanski. Nice thing is that the author encourages us to go for a holistic approach to medicine by combining both traditional and alternative cures.

A very comprehensive review about a book that covers a somewhat controversial subject. Curing cancer with homeopathic drugs is long a field of debate, and has even become a so-called conspiracy theory that accuses big Pharmaceutical companies of deliberately trying to conceal it in order to profit from their own medications. The author writes about her father who was victimized and the review describes this in detail as well as including stories of patients who have benefitted from this controversial cure. The review creates an interesting picture of the book thereby fostering a desire to read it.

Sometimes, we rely too much on non-natural remedies that we forget that nature has always been there for us. Winning the War on Cancer gives the reader an interesting perspective and approach to medicine, sharing her father's journey into finding natural remedies that can help with cancer and other diseases.

This review gives a clear picture of both the science and the personal story behind Winning the War on Cancer. I appreciate that Sylvie Beljanski supports a mix of traditional and natural treatments instead of rejecting modern medicine. The part about her father’s discovery of plant-based molecules and how they helped people, even someone as high-profile as the French president, really stood out. It’s also powerful to see how she fought to protect his legacy and started a foundation to keep his work alive. This sounds like a helpful and inspiring read for anyone facing cancer or just wanting to learn more about natural health options.

Indeed, this book was a befitting and exceptional tribute and appreciation to her father, whose plight sounds shocking and unwarranted. I read the book, and I enjoyed it. I am almost certain that those interested in integrative medicine will find it helpful. Thank you, @Cristina Chifane.

It was a nice review. It was very thoughtful of you. Cancer is something that makes people fear their life, it was a motivation for the patients who suffer from cancer.

I am a doctor and I understand the role of integrative medicine in healing a person.Though I haven't read the book,I understand the injustice faced by mirko beljanski,to work so hard and find a solution to the cancerous condition only to be subdued and shunned by oncologist community.I find it fascinating and inspiring of Sylvie beljanski to fight for the greater good and start up the beljanski foundation for further research that might save the lives of people.

The behemoth pharmaceutical industry sometimes scares me. Many times I have found natural or alternative medicine beneficial. I appreciate the way Sylvie Beljanski reveals helpful details that can help cancer patients without focusing on enriching her pocket, which is the opposite of most of the pharmaceutical firms. Well done for the comprehensive review Cristina.
