I don't partake anymore, but this sounds like an interesting guide for those who do. I'm surprised how short the book is, considering people can go on for years about wine and champagne. Thanks for the review.

This book will come on handy for future research, though maybe not to help me enjoy wine (I am tea-total due to health conditions)! Your review has definitely got me interested in the possible facts it contains about Dom Perignon the monk, and any kind of humour in the writing of a book is great also.

I loved your line “the only thing better than learning something new is learning it quickly!” Hear hear!

I’ve got a bottle of bubbly in the fridge right now, your review has inspired me to crack it open while I read this book. Thanks!

As per my knowledge, wine makes the heart rejoice. It's also medicine. But I would love to get more information about it. I will read the book. This is a well elaborated review of the book. Kudos

All information that you could possibly want about champagne is bottled in this short book. What a great thing to have around for when you want to learn something new!

It's coincidence that I found out about this book after reading a novel about a wine tasting scam, right? Right? Either way, I'd love to learn what it's called outside of Champagne and also, what is that silver spoon trick and can it be replicated with a bottle of red?

I found the fact at the beginning of the book to be quite interesting. I had no idea that wine is mentioned in the Bible much more frequently than milk is. That says a lot about these two drinks! Congrats on a great review. :)

I enjoy facts about any subject, presented in a condensed form. This book sounds like it does a good job doing this about a drink that I enjoy, champagne, or sparkling wine, as we have to call our South African version, because it is made here. Your review was witty and comprehensive so I am looking forward to reading this book and learning some useful facts in a fun and enjoyable manner.

I did not know that there was much calcium in champagne. I must say that I prefer my wine with less bubbles, but the book does sound interesting. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I'm not a champagne lover but it would be great to learn a bit about it - the stories sound interesting. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This book is everything about champagne: how it was originally created, the differences between champagne and wine, the best bubbly labels from various regions and many more. Great review
