Similar to the official reviewer, I would never have thought to pick up this book normally. However, for anyone looking to educate themselves concerning healthcare decisions for themself and their family, I can't think of a better book.

With first hand knowledge about how different healthcare workers are some good and some good but their bedside manner horrible. I found that this book gave more knowledge into how the healthcare world has changed over the years.

This is an inspiring, educational non-fiction medical help book highlighting a valuable perspective on how patients can experience better outcomes. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

The author's unique circumstances make her the ideal person for writing this book. She has been both a provider and a patient in the health-care system. I look forward to reading her memories about her childhood home. Thanks for the recommendation.

Helping people make better decisions about their healthcare is so important. The healthcare system has become difficult to navigate and make informed decisions about the course of treatment and the insurance plan that best suits a person's needs. This book can be empowering for people. Thank you for your review.

Wow! I will love to read this book. One of the issue that bothers my mind when it comes to health care and practitioners is the importance of selecting the right primary care physician. I hope this factor will be address in the book. Nice review.

This book sounds like a wealth of information and I bet everyone who reads it will learn something. I like how the author interweaves personal stories. It must have been interesting growing up in a childhood home that also served as one of two doctors' offices in town. I also appreciate how she incorporates the cost of inflation and how to shop around for better prices. This is a very valuable and helpful review!

Sounds mighty useful and helpful book for Americans, but at the same time totally useless for those of us who lives outside of their boundaries. Don't get me wrong, the author made great work, but I will have to skip it. Anyway, congrats with BOTD!
