As usual, cristinaro, you provide a well-argumented, thorough review of a book that is hard not to read, even if not urged by being a patient or having someone suffering from this terrible desease in their family. I wonder if it would have made a difference for my father, who was ill and died in the seventies.
I identified the strong points that you mentioned in the pages I sampled. One of them is that the author does not fight against alopate medecine, but rather for all the healing systems to join forces to the benefit of the patients. What pharmaceutical corporations do or have done is not right and the results could be classified as crimes against humanity. Is society going to heal itself of its own cancer?

It is way too depressing for a person with my temperament to read books about fighting against possibly mortal illnesses. Sorry, but I will have to pass this one.

Thank you for a thourogh and insightful review. Cancer is one of the worst things we have to deal with in our modern world. Sometimes the oldest and most natural remedies are the most helpful.

This book promotes a healthier way of fighting a deadly decease with alternative medicine. It is well worth the try as I believe in the healing powers of nature. Great review.

Being a person with medical issues, I know all too well about the horrible side effects some medications have. In my case, it was a catch-22 in that I needed a certain medication to save my life, but the medication caused serious side effects, so I'm now dealing with other issues. I'm not just blaming the medication, my family history plays a big part as well. It just makes me angry that the research of holistic medicines and treatment are being pushed aside. It's disconcerting that it always boils down to money, and the fact that people with money can persuade politicians and people with the powers that be choose to put money over human lives; not just theirs lives but also their quality of life. I'm looking forward to reading this book. Your review was exceptional!

‘Holistic’ had been one of my top ten words for many years! So I cannot wait to sample - and maybe eventually read - this book!

Thank you for such a thorough and inviting review!

The holostic approach to health has been around since the beginning. Unfortunately, the synthetic medicine field has continually worked to silence it. To cure cancer, and other afflictions. Would be such a blessing.

Her father’s persecution and subsequent arrest trigger Sylvie’s strong emotional reaction and her commitment to accomplish the mission of proving his innocence and manufacturing his products. The book details on the trials and tribulations of a long journey for a daughter who is ready to change her entire life and risk her marriage only to clear her father’s name and make people aware of Mirko Beljanski’s contribution to the advancement of science. I have particularly enjoyed Sylvie’s frankness coupled with her courage and determination to achieve her goals. Her ability to deal with extremely diverse and challenging situations kept me tuned in all the way to the end. A law graduate, Sylvie finds the strength to set up the Beljanski Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to further Dr. Beljanski’s research within a network of high-profile institutions around the world.
Wow! That takes commitment. But I'm grateful there are people like her, willing to fight against the status quo to offer us unique solutions to such horrific ailments.
Your review is excellently written and very compelling. Thank you!

I am inspired to read this book, based on the sample and the truly excellent review. It is time that Western medicine had less side effects and accepted holistic integration.

Thank you for the great review. This book sounds very interesting, and as I have been looking at a more holistic approach to taking care of my family, this could be a great read.

It seems like cancer touches everyone at some point in our lives. It is encouraging to know of holistic medicines and alternative treatments. I would never stray from the standard of care recommended by a good oncologist, but I am also open to alternate treatments.
