I will read the sample, but I don’t agree that America is a racist country. I honor the brave abolitionists and patriots who fought for freedom and equality that has eventually helped all people succeed.

I would never support racism of any kind but I wouldn't mind reading this book. The review is catchy enough to make one be interested to read the book.

I like the pictures that the author included in the book. It seems like a quick and easy read. Fans of history will enjoy this one. Thanks for an informative review.

The author did a good job taking the reader on a journey from the past to the present. Writing historical happenings as a non fiction, was also a great work, as it makes reading history enjoyable.

It sounds like a very controversial read for sure. We are at such a volatile time in our country. It will be interesting to see how this book is received. Nice job on the review.

The review is amazing and I know what to expect from the book. The book sounds informative and enlightening especially on issues to do with racism. I love the fact that the author starts by narrating about racism from a while back. Congrats BOTD!

What an invaluable book. I don't live in America, but in my opinion, BIPOC people are the ones who should be doing the talking about racism and how to fix it. The rest of us should listen, do a thorough examination of ourselves, and change whatever we need to in order to eradicate such a horrible human flaw.

Non fiction books are not my cup of tea but I've read the review and the book seems pretty interesting and informative. The issue of racism is an eternal topic as it was, is and unfortunately probably will be in the future as well. The book will definitely attract lots of people. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

With issues surrounding race being just as important these days as they were when the author was born, this book is able to provide readers with a wealth of knowledge. For those interested in American history, issues surrounding race in the country, and influential figures in that American past, this book is for you.

The book seems to discuss both current problems and problems of the past. While it seems like a brilliant book, I don't think it's for me.

While slavery has been abolished in United States, racism seems to be as prevalent as ever. I'm looking forward to reading the author's view on racism in America. Great review!

The Official Review states that this is a novel. It is clearly not a novel, but a historical retrospective peppered with personal reminiscences and political commentary. I give the author credit for getting her thoughts down on paper and giving it a terrific title. Congratulations to Ms.Frazier on her accomplishment and for receiving BOTD honors.
