I don't have much information about eugenics but from this review, I'm optimistic that there's much to gain. Thanks for the review.

I read mostly for pleasure. This book has more of an educational side. People who like to read about biology would like to read this book but surely not my cup of tea. Thank you for your great review though!

The genome would be a great asset in near future. People will have Clooney children. The biology of genome is vast. I liked the review. Thank you for the detail analysis.

This book covers a lot of interesting topics that I've heard of but haven't had the opportunity to learn about. I'm looking forward to picking this one up and delving into subjects like cloning, in vitro fertilization, genome editing, self-controlled reproduction, and transhumanism.

Fascinating subject! A lot of moral and evolutionary issues to consider. What will win in the end - wisdom or money? Thank you for the review!

The New Eugenics by Conrad B. Quintyn is a non-fiction work which deals with the scientific and logical arguments to criticize the new eugenics. It also deals with the most diverse topics like cloning, in vitro fertilization, genome editing, self-controlled reproduction, and much more. This book is more of an educational side. I'm a biology student, so I don't think I would enjoy reading the same. To be frank, I prefer out of that topic. Anyway, I hope this book will be very useful to those who are looking forward to having knowledge about different aspects of genetics.
Congrats on BOTD!

I still remember that we had a formal debate on eugenics in one of my high school classes, and the research I did for it was really interesting! That's great that the author found a compelling way to explain his arguments to both people who are religious and people who aren't.

This book sounds very insightful. I’m curious to read more about this new version of “eugenics.”

I know it is just a word, but the term "Eugenics" has exceptionally negative ring to it in my opinion. I simply can't find it in myself to read anything that was used as justification of mist shameful and horrible period of our history. Congrats with BOTD anyway!

This book sounds fascinating. I agree that a scientist must make the risk of these new technologies clear to humanity. On the other hand, being able to cure Alzheimer's disease would be incredible. Thank you for your insightful review.

An interesting non-fiction book "The New Eugenics" by Conrad B. Quintyn, which tells us about cloning, in-vitro fertilization, genome editing, self-controlled reproduction and trans-humanism. The books looks quite informative to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Even though you didn't agree with all of the author's points, you did a good job of presenting the book's content. Thanks for listing the topics the book covers that are related to eugenics. Great review!

This is an interesting book on genetics that I would want to read. Especially because I think that scientist should use technology and science to solve human problems only and not to play God.
