A book in respect seems new to me. A great way addressing respect is shown between parent and child. The review has given good insight into the book. Great review.

This is a very good topic. In Africa respect is associated with old age and fear. Anybody who can't be feared and is young will never be given respect. In other words old people with power and wealth will be feared, this, respected. Congrats to the author.

I saw this title and immediately heard Aretha Franklin singing in my head. This is a very important topic, and I hope the author finds a significant readership to take advantage of her insightful views and recommendations. Congratulations to Dr. Young Andrews on achieving BOTD.

A topic every person deserves to pay attention to because sometimes respect is misunderstood. It’s different from fear, hatred and love but people often get them mixed up

I think this would be an excellent book to open conversations between parents and teens on what respect means and feels like to each of them. It could help them find some common ground. I loved the thorough analysis you gave of the book and enjoyed reading your review!

This is a very engaging review. I didn't want to stop reading it as i enjoyed the whole content. The term "Respect" was explicitly explained here by the author. I love how she used her experiences to justify the theme. Congrats on being the book of the day.

Respect is something we should all show to each other no matter what. This sounds like a great book both inspirational and insightful.

Respect is indeed a complicated term. It varies according to people, and it is confusing sometimes. I would love to read this book and gain some insight into this topic. An excellent and thorough review!

The #BOTD is a handy guide for teachung respect and the reflection questions are a great tool for self-assessment. I am sure this would be an excellent conversation starter as well. Great review!

This sounds like an excellent book to read. I like how the author explains the time that she grew up and how they didn't have cell phones so there was no concept of texting at the table. Now, most people are on the phone all the time, including during meals. I think she does a great job of explaining how the definition of respect changes as well.
