Although according to the review, the main target would be the estate agents and would-be estate agents, the stories written by Nico are first-hand tales of life, full of humour and ...simply delightful.

Nico did encounter suddenly so much hardship that she had no other choice than starting all over again, including a new career.

The title of the book led me to think it would be a fantasy book, haha. Nicole surely had a terrible year, and I wonder if she will recover from it. Some times, life can be very challenging.

The book recounts the tale of a real estate agent and her many numerous encounters throughout the 80s and 90s. It even includes a quiz and glossary of terms to get the reader informed about real estate. I especially find the humorous tale and theme of friendship throughout the book to be the top highlights. Congrats on the BOTD!

I love strong characters, and Nico seems like that. Sadly, I am not all too interested in this book. Too bad about errors. Great review.

A book about life and its ups and downs:) it seems to have also some tips for people working sales, they might consider Nico’s experience inspiring.

I don't blame her for not keeping her promise to her client on her deathbed. Do people really keep them? Nice job on review

This is an interesting concept for a non-fiction book. I’m sure Nico has plenty of crazy stories to tell from their time in real-estate. I’m saddened to hear of her initial pain with her miscarriage and divorce. Thanks for your detailed review of this book!

Never liked that myth and its connotation that there is no hope in the world. Unfortunately memoirs also aren't my thing, so reading review didn't change my opinion on reading it, but I can see how the book will appeal to many with promise of mystery and scandal! I would like to congratulate the author on BOTD!

I didn’t realize this was nonfiction until I read your review. This seems like a very interesting story, especially since I know it’s not fiction. Well done.

This is an interesting story. Nico Griffith's life experiences were extraordinary, making for a great read. I like the theme of friendship and comradery and the positive effect it had on her life. However, the presence of many errors is a huge turnoff for me.

Nico had a hard life from a miscarriage to losing her husband to losing her job. It sounds like a book with many sad moments but hope is still there.

It's great that the author took charge of her life after so many challenges. However, I don't read non-fiction, so I'll pass on this book.
