"George Washington Dealmaker-in-Chief" explores how the first President of the United States handled post-war challenges, managed land and business ventures, and shaped the government. I am curious to learn more about his early drive and mindset. Congrats on BOTD!

I didn't know Washington had served in the British military. What a turn of events! I don't understand much of economics, but I love historical memoirs. Thank you for your detailed review.

George Washington is the first president of United States of America that has passion, zeal and focus for his life ambitions. Regardless of the fact that his father died when he was eleven years, he continued working to ensure that he accomplishes all. The book is detailed and intriguing, it is an amazing book.

Thank you for this comprehensive and passionate review. While I haven't read the book yet, your summary clearly conveys who George Washington was beyond the textbook image—particularly regarding his entrepreneurial spirit and the emotional depth found in his letters. The author provides a well-rounded and humanizing portrait of Washington, and I’m definitely going to read it soon.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because I am not an American and therefore have little to zero interest in the history of the country with no ties to me. I had enough info gained from various sources to know who George Washington was and don't see a reason to spend more time on the topic. Congrats with BOTD, anyway!

Fans of history will enjoy George Washington Dealmaker-in-Chief by Cyrus A. Ansary as it goes into great detail about the life of America's first president. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll skip this one.

This book is quite interesting, it narrates about the life of G. Washington from an economic perspective. It's well-written, well-researched and I like that invludes real letters and other documentations.

Washington did not have the education he wanted he lost his father at a very young age and yet he built his path with discipline, curiosity and good advice like his brother.🐞

"George Washington Dealmaker-in-Chief" by Cyrus A. Ansary is a non-fiction story about one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history. He was a humble man that dedicated his life to his country. What a contract to the current president who believes everything is about him. George Washington was one of the greatest leaders in American history. The book begins with a prologue that describes George’s inauguration day. The book goes back to his early life and gives a very detailed description of his father that died when George was 11 years-old. His father was so important in his early years and when he died George began to rely on his half-brother Lawrence who was 14 years older than George and he was an officer in the colonial regiment attached to the regular British army. George demonstrated at an early age that he was very intelligent with amazing problem-solving skills. He began his military life as a surveyor in the British military before the Revolutionary War. When he resigned from the British military he returned to his Mount Vernon and created a thriving business. He appreciated the value of owning land and making the land productive and he also expanded Mount Vernon. He also purchased land in other territories that would become states. The book follows his life with a primary focus on his life after the Revolutionary War. He helped draft the peace treaty and the setting up of the new American government and the position of president. Many Americans wanted George to become a king but he could not do it since he wanted to establish a government for the people that was run by the people. Congress gave him a requirement that he build our capitol city in ten years without any funding from the government. His deal-making skills were instrumental in the creation of Washington, D.C. We could really use a George Washington today since he would find ways to get Congress to work together instead of the partisanship that is destroying our country. He was truly a patriot and he did not need to hug the flag. He was one of the most honest presidents and he did not lie to the people like we see every day with the current president. George was the right man to lead our country and he had to rebuild the country after he led the country back from the dire straits it was in after the Revolutionary War. Most people that have not studied the early days of the U.S. know the economic crisis our first president was faced with when he took office but he did an incredible job of setting up our new government, selecting cabinet members and organizing the U.S. mint. This is an incredible book that I have purchased and I plan to read the entire book.

It is clear from the review that the author put a lot of work into writing this book. A well-researched book creates magic. This review is also a detailed one, which talks about the book's essence without spilling spoilers.
Thanks for the review.
