Thank you for sharing such a detailed and insightful review of "Millennial Apocalyp$e" by Zane E Brown and Dr. Donalee Brown. Your breakdown of the book's structure, research-backed content, and suggested solutions make it clear that it's a valuable resource for understanding and navigating the financial landscape for millennials. Your mention of the authors' use of research, chapter quotes, and the recommended balance between socially responsible investing and retirement planning adds depth to the book's appeal. I appreciate your candid feedback on the use of second-person pronouns, noting the potential impact on reader engagement. Your five-star rating and strong recommendation make this book sound like a must-read for anyone interested in building a sustainable investment and retirement plan. I'll definitely consider picking up a copy based on your positive experience!

Awesome review! Luckily, I fit right into the demographic for this book and anything that will make (useful) financial knowledge more accessible and understandable is a plus as far as I’m concerned.
However, I disliked how the authors used second-person pronouns to address the millennial generation, such as "your generation." It created a separation between the authors and their target audience, and I believe they should identify with the generation to communicate their solutions better.
I’d have to agree with this. The singling-out of millennials and (directly or indirectly) deeming them to be a problematic generation is already a constant and very unfair in so many ways. So making this separation, particularly in what is supposed to help and uplift millennials, can come off as condescending/insincere if you’re not careful.

I can understand your point about the use of second-person pronouns which creates a separation between the authors and their target audience. I agree that identifying with the millennial generation could enhance communication of solutions. Thank you for the detailed review.

Since everything in the world is almost about money I think its a good book in a way it will show us how the millennials operate their money and get tips and even maybe become a millennial.

The appears to be a terrific book for its targetted audience, of which I am not a member. And fortunately for me, my children, millennials themselves, have done very well for themselves. But if you fall into this bracket, and have read this review, I urge you to not wait to get your ducks in order and take advantage of the terrific info in this book. Congrats to the authors on their achievements.

Good job on the review! This book seems very real, as the recession of 2020 especially, has truly affected the financial decisions of many people around me including myself. I will definitely read this book very soon. This book seems very informative and logical.
Congrats on BOTD to the author!

This doesn't sound like a book that I would be interested in reading but I probably should, being a Millennial and all. It does appear to be well researched which is always a plus. Well done on #BOTD.

In this research-based book about the factors that shape millennials' financial decisions, the authors explore upbringing, the internet and the recessions of 2008 and 2020 to explain the reasons why millennials are risk-averse, overconfident, prefer instant gratification and are resistant to face-to-face communication. This book is a must-read for parents or counsellors who recognise these traits in their children and for young people who are seeking guidance for investment building and retirement planning. Congratulations on a well-deserved #BOTD award.

Perfect handbook written for millennials population. This book shed lights on how understanding the attitude of millennials’ upbringing can effectively transform the progress of global economic development. A practical guidebook for millennials and their successors. The best part of reading this is, it’s not just a random guide book but that one that talks!
