"Dear Heroin" by Linda Morrison is a touching memoir of a mother's love. My heart goes out to Linda Morrison because no mother can ever get over the loss of a child. Congrats on BOTD. Awesome review.

'It is said in recovery communities that addiction is a family disease, not just because there is a genetic factor, but also because one person's addiction affects the whole family.'
I totally agree with this statement, and I hope that this book does a lot to help its readers.

I commend Linda Morrison for compiling this personal and reflective book, Dear Heroin: A Memoir of Goodbyes. With it being a means of healing and love from her part, it's also a constant reminder to those who have been in these situations that they're not alone.

Definitely not my cup of tea, both with regard to the genre, because I dislike non-fiction and especially memoirs, but more importantly, because the main topic of addiction and consequences it has on everyone around the addict is not to be taken lightly. Sorry I will have to skip, but congrats anyway!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting memoir following the hardships that the author's son went through while dealing with addiction. It is definitely a heartfelt memoir. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This captivating story of hope is about a mother fighting for her son and his addiction to heroin. This story is for those who are seeking a beacon of light in their lives. What kind of light will the mother find at the end of the tunnel?

I'm really dazed at memoirs as they usually seem to be remembered with a theme, any time I come across This it's sinks my heart though. Mike's struggle reminds me of people in different way. Thanks!

'Official Review: Dear Heroin: A Memoir of Goodbyes' by Linda Morrison has a thought-provoking introduction. It is very well presented and expressed. The author chronicles the devastating addiction of her son Mike. Readers cannot help but feel each hope and heartbreak with the author. Also, the book covers the topics of suicide and drug use. Learning that the book is raw, authentic, and captivating was great!

Thank you for your heartfelt review on "Dear Heroin" by Linda Morrison. This is a book written by the mother, Linda, of a son, Mike, who was a drug addict that went through rehab over and over only to succumb to suicide in the end. She tells the story of how this isn't only about the addict but how it also affects the family trying to help them. The emotional rollercoaster for both of them is never ending. This book is temporarily free on Amazon and I have put it on my shelf to read. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how the author persevered through the challenges brought about by her son’s heroin addiction and how relevant and timely issues affected the whole family and their relationships with one another and with the society they belong to.

In the story of drug addiction and recovery, the addicts take the centre stage. Little to nothing is said about the people who have to deal with these addicts. In this book, we hear the story of a mother dealing with her son's addiction to Heroin. I think it's worth reading.
