Seems like a perfect book for an aspiring author like me. Writing is an excellent way to express our emotions. I commend the author on reaching out to other aspiring writers . There is so much of information overload out there when it comes to self publishing. A compact book with all info in it is the need of the hour. Thank you for this wonderful review too!

This appears to be a great guide for writing and self-publishing your own book. It’s not something I’m interested in at the moment, but maybe a book I will come back to in the future.

This is the perfect book for aspiring writers. The short and easy read will walk you through those aspects that any new author strives to learn to publish and market books in addition to writing it. Will this book motivate you to write your first book?

"Zen and the Art of Writing" by Ray Hodgson is a valuable resource for writers seeking to deepen their craft through a Zen-inspired approach. Unlike traditional writing guides, Hodgson’s work integrates principles of Zen Buddhism with the writing process, emphasizing mindfulness, presence, and authenticity. The book offers practical advice on overcoming writer's block, finding one's voice, and developing a disciplined yet flexible writing routine. Hodgson advocates for a holistic approach to writing, where the act of writing itself becomes a meditative practice. His insights are particularly useful for those looking to infuse their writing with greater depth and emotional resonance.Overall, "Zen and the Art of Writing" is appreciated for its unique perspective, blending philosophical insights with actionable writing techniques. It serves as both a guide and an inspiration for writers aiming to cultivate a more thoughtful and engaged approach to their craft.

"Zen and the Art of Writing" is providing us with the building blocks for us to build our own castle. I simply feel that the author has defenitively "been there" and felt encouraged to publish my novels!

I truly love that this book emphasizes the importance of clearing one's mind through meditation. I believe this process would set the pace for the best output in whatever one would indulge in.

So many of us have a story to tell, and this seems like sound advice to achieve it. I'm not sure about the "boosting immunity" part, which has become a buzzword (buzzterm?) in wellness culture, but I do think we are our most creative in moments of quiet and stillness, which can be hard to find these days. Great review!

'Official Review: Zen and the Art of Writing: Publish Your First Book' by Ray Hodgson presents the vital features of the non-fiction book. I found it useful as it contained relevant information. The point that the book gives guidance on how to choose the topic for your book, how to write a book, how to publish it, and how to market it is worth mentioning in the review. Readers would find well-detailed steps towards self-publishing a book. Also, the author adds examples of other authors and great people to illustrate his point. Learning that this is an educational book was great!

I’m looking forward to digging into this book to be enlightened by the author about how to think of a topic in writing a book and how to publish and market it. I like books that educate and inform and this one is right up my alley.
