Thank you for your awesome review of "Chair Yoga for Seniors: An Exciting Journey to Health and Wellness" by Joan K. Glance, Ph.D. This is a book focused on presenting a revolutionized way of approaching senior fitness through an introduction to chair yoga, a gentle and powerful method combining meditation, breath work, and customizable routines that can meet the needs of seniors. I have seen books like these on Amazon but finally here is one temporarily free so I am taking advantage of this gift. I haven't tried yoga before but I need to do some gentle stretching and get my mobility going and this intriguing read seems like just the book for me and many seniors. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

I definitely need this book for my parents, both in their early 70s. Chair yoga will suit their needs; the accompanying illustrations will as well add to the experience of enhancing their mobility and mental health.

Exercise for seniors is hard. Sluggishness is concerning, and no one likes to break their own bones. See if this one works for my neighbour.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

Without proper movement our body and mind go soft. I am seeing it in a family member now. Sedentary lifestyle with no movement is not good for the body or the mind. Chair Yoga sounds like a great way to keep the movement without any he stress on the body. Will be keeping this good in mind for my family member. Great review.

Thank you for your informative review. I think you summed up the book very well. From what I have read so far, I agree that the author explains it very simply and I'm glad she wrote about the myths and that they aren't true. Being in the right age group for this book, I have added it to my list of books to read so I can keep moving. I'm thankful that this book was free to all of us.
