Your review doesn't give too much away about the book, yet makes me want to read it. It sounds like a very uplifting yet realistic book, while containing some humorous elements.

It's a good thing I already have this book on my Want to Read shelf! I'm down for heartwarming personal stories and anecdotes. Overall, this books seems inspiring and I could learn a few things about working with people who need me. Thanks for the review :) It's cool how you were able to relate to some of the author's experiences.

When I had surgery on my dominant arm, I needed a professional caretaker. I drove her nuts! Although I had my mental faculties, I still regressed to childish demands. One afternoon I asked her why she put up with me. Wearing a big grin, she looked me in the eyes and replied, “well, it’s not for the money.” Now I am a caretaker and have learned to live in the moment and find the humor in the littlest of things. Christina’s review was the selling point; I just bought a copy of the book.

Re: Trust me, I’m a Careworker So far, have read the sample and it’s an interesting read. My sister does the same job in New York but now I understand why she doesn’t talk much about work. This book is an eye opener for me as it is so descriptive, it feels like I’m there. The second story (spoiler) was a bit depressing I almost shed a tear, gonna download Kindle so I can read the rest👍🏾.

A personal story of Christopher about his experience working as a caretaker and the positive lessons he has learnt along his work. The book is also filled with heartwarming humor which makes it even more appealing.

I love this review. From the title I wasn’t sure if this book would be something I’d like to read but you’ve really sold this to me! I think it would be very interesting to read some of these stories and experiences!

I believe careworkers are underpaid and underappreciated at times. These men and women try their best to help the sick and ailing. The patient's experience written in this book will allow the readers to empathize with them. Great review.

I can relate to what was said about the unpredictability. You're right that life's really like that of course, but some things are more predictable than caring for someone sick. Humour, as described in the book, must help. It's great that this book highlights the role of those who are often underappreciated.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

The review is friendly. Health workers may be undervalued or underpaid but one thing is certain; everybody's life is a sacrifice.

The review is great but a lil bulky for my liking.
And from the review it seems that the book has a side of humour to it.
I'm yet to decide if I'm going to read.

Its true that most caregivers pass through alot mostly they are underpaid as some of their working conditions are not pleasing. Bigup to all caregivers because passion is what keeps you moving. Indeed it was a nice review. Congrats

I've never thought much about caregivers but your personal relation to the topic has given me insights more than the content of the book. I think it is beautiful and fulfilling to be a caregiver. Even though the world won't recognize it. Great review.

Great review! I think this book sounds like it would be a great read. My mom had a stroke in 2009 and her caregivers and physical therapists were amazing.

Patients goes along way! There are some that is down right mean and you have to do all the work. I give caretakers a lot of respect.
